Est. 2010, Suurbraak Schuur offers extremely comfortable accommodation for holiday makers, families and business travellers. Accommodation comprises two large en-suite bedrooms, with private seating areas, electric blankets and ceiling fans, a spacious sitting room with satelite TV, and open fire place; a fully equipped kitchen and large outside patio for relaxing and bird watching.

Children under 12, sharing with adults, pay R150,00.
HIGH SEASON: 1 DECEMBER-30 APRIL

A gem of a view. However wet wood was not appreciated. Perhaps get coal? The river is polluted. Distracts from the charm. Creaky floor boards will wake the dead. Dougie is very helpful. Beds are comfie.
A quint little town. Really love the old world feel of it. Roosters still wake you at sunrise. I highly recommend the Green Fig B&B!!! Owned and managed by a husband and wife.
Lovely house in Suurbraak with 2 en-suite rooms. The lounge with DSTV and stoep with fireplace is the next best thing after the view. The kitchen is basic an there is also an outside bathroom with 2 toilets and a shower. Fantastic place to break away from the hussle and bustle of town.
High ceilings and right next to a creek/river you get the amazing water sounds, fantastic! Massive indoor fireplace and deep outside braai area. Majestic views of the mountains right from the stoep.
Wonderful stay at Suurbraak Schuur. Recommended if you need a tranquil break. Just lovely. Good accommodation. Amazing stoep! Just perfect.
Very restful if you just want to sit and chill. Not super fancy but homely.
