If I could give negative stars I would, but seeing that 1 star is the lowest I’ll have to go with that. My experience with Sweet Dreams has been nothing short of a waste of ALOT of time and money. A completely pointless and painful exercise!!! What Sweet dreams promises and what they actually deliver do not coincide AT ALL. After dealing with them and going back and forth with paper work for months, I resorted to just going to my local Dept of Labour and starting the process again according to Sweet dreams, you will never need to set foot in the Dept of Labour because apparently they will be sorting out everything for you. What an absolute LIE Upon dealing with one of the officers at the Dept of Labour, I was advised that they no longer deal with the agent since around 2019 because nobody wants to take responsibility for the online applications. Which seems about right since my online application has been sitting on the same step since sweet dreams uploaded my documents - which is something I could have done. After submitting my documents at my local Dept of Labour, I was paid out within 7 working days. Sweet dreams could not even verify my documents in that amount of time. If you are willing to pay R500 plus couriers fees for your original documents just to have someone upload them to the ufiling system and then tell you every week to follow up with the Dept of Labour, then sweet dreams is definitely the agents you want to go with. But if you’d like to actually get somewhere with your application and actually be paid out, then you’ll need to give them a miss. Sweet dreams gave me sweet nothing but frustration and a loss of time and money! HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND!
I used a company called UIF4MOMMIES to submit my maternity claim and the owner took my payment and did not honour the contract. In desperation i reached out to Sweet Dreamz Maternity UIF, for help. They offered assistance and wouldn't even take payment for the help they had given me to review my application. I am enormously grateful and would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to submit a UIF claim. It takes so much pressure off you so that you can care for your baby - especially when it's a company you can trust and who has your best interest at heart. You don't get company's who still offer this type of interest and assistance - especially without compensation. Thank you Kelly.
I will never recommend this company to anyone. Basically paid them to create a Ufiling profile for me. I had to resubmit my documents to Labour Dept for my maternity UIF. It is a lot of wasted time and money. Upon asking them for assistance they just tell you to follow up on a weekly bases with labour department. This is such a disappointment as in the begin of the process it looked like this will be smooth sailing. Almost heading back to work and nothing. I have sent so many emails to UIF and made so many calls. That I am basically at the verge of just giving up. THANK YOU FOR NOTHING HORRIBLE DREAMZ
Excellent service from Sweet Dreamz. They provide all the documentation and check it before submission. They make dealing with a government organization as easily as possible. I received my UIF payment 45 days after submitting the claim. Thank you to all that assist me.
I don’t recommend this company. Rather go to the labour department yourself and file in person. Yes it may be an inconvenience waiting at the department for hours but Atleast your documents will be submitted and you’ll get actual feedback. Zero Star for the following: -Lagging responses from agents, 3 day response time. -No actual reasons why claims take so long to be approved -You end up being referred to the labour department which the makes their services useless Useless Agency rather go to the labour Center yourself.
The only benefit of using Sweetdreamz is for first time Maternity UIF Claims, because Sweetdreamz gives you the complete list of documents you need to submit. After that you are on your own to make sure the documents are really correct and due to the POPI ACT you must follow up via multiple emails directly with the Department of Labour. According to Dept. of Labour; they required one of my submitted documents to be amended and company stamped, Sweetdreamz submitted my documents to the wrong office/location and they omitted my son's Birth certificate. After weeks e-mailing random addresses at Dept. of Labour myself, my maternity UIF claim was sorted out by myself.
It's been 3 months. Still zero UIF received. All this company does is, create and online profile and upload. They DO NOT check ANYTHING. I know have to redo my documents and resubmit hoping I get my money. Do not waste your time, energy or money. Totally not worth it. Everything is blamed on the POPI ACT. They do zero follow ups at all. You, as a new Mum has to follow up and make sure everything is in order.
Thanks to the assistance of the Sweet Dreamz team I received my maternity benefit without any issues from the Department of Labour. The Google ratings does not do the team justice, they assisted me with all my queries within 24hours, checked all the documents for a complete submission and did the submission very quickly. The process at DOL took a few months, but thanks to Sweet Dreamz all was in order for them to approve the claim.
Terrible service. Useless and an absolute waste of money. After 6 months of Nothing happening on my online status claim after paying them R500 for their services I eventually went into the Department of labour and my claim was paid out within 2 weeks, stood in a queue for an entire day but at least I got paid out.
Terrible company to do business with. They make the promise to assist with UIF claims and then drop you not even halfway through the process. I would not recommend them to anyone, rather stay as far away as possible!!
