In connection with Cape Town branch. Unfortunately we had a small parking issue with the car add the company has been totally unhelpful with handling this issue via phone we lost full day of a holiday … Moreover they have not informed us about additional fees regarding the claim +30% of the total liability. NEVER AGAIN - NOT RECOMMENDED. and please do not ask me about reference number etc.. as I HAVE WRITTEN 5 EMAILS to you if you can help me with those costs...
Tempest charged me extra for fuel even after I filled the car at the airport fuel station a few metres away and I gave the fuel slip proof to the attendant!!! This is unethical! Customer service cannot be reached by telephone, the emails keep saying 'mailbox full'
16 days and I still haven’t got my deposit back…AVIS took 3 business days.
The service was good even though the were offline. The specific vehicle we received was not safe to be on the road. During the inspection we made them aware of the issues.
Tempest is the best car hire company, I've been hiring from them for a number of times and each time they don't dissapoint, clean cars, nice stuff plus paying back your deposit is very fast...no hassle.

The invoice sent to me from PE Tempest was incorrect when trying to phone them on the number provided it goes to fax
We had booked a car in advance. It just took a few minutes to get the car and get going. There was no queue at all.
Couldn't process my booking for 40 minutes, even though I had a valid voucher. Poor communication.
