Have you ever watched a movie and said to yourself that's what I want to do? Well that is what happened to me.
I watched the movie Cocktail with Tom Cruise, Bryan Brown, and Elisabeth Shue. From the moment after I watched it I knew that this; is the lifestyle for me. I wanted to work on a beach on an island in a laid back cocktail bar. Yes, the prospect of meeting new women every day was another aspect that was appealing, maybe that was the real reason I wanted to do it but lets not get into that. So from that moment, I made it my mission to do what I wanted to do. I searched high and low for opportunities.
I studied Hotel Management and worked in different bars and pubs. Eventually I got my professional qualification as a bartender and from here I worked as a cocktail bar manager, bar consultant etc for several places. I became very successful concerning my trade but yet something was missing.
Finally in 2004 I got THE opportunity. Well, not exactly I got something better, instead of working on one island I got the opportunity to travel the world and visit several islands and countries, worldwide. The best thing about it is that I got paid to travel and I made good money doing so.
I worked like this for thirteen years and now I am here wanting to share my knowledge and experiences with you and hope I get to inspire someone to follow their dream and be happy doing so. There is nothing more rewarding than to be able to do what you desire. So if there is something that you want to do for a living do your utmost to reach that goal.
Remember this: Man’s only limitation lies within the development and use of his imagination!!!
