The Daily Coffee Cafe Kathu

Seems like a very popular spot and well liked. I though, prefer my coffee without coffee beetles. And the response on my return with the unwanted extras was quite muted. Despite being desperate for a morning coffee, I could not think of it until I was a good 5 hours away.

Perfect setting, food was good. Your scnitchel sauce needs improvement, must be more and more creamy.

What a pleasure.... staff are friendly and food is awesome, the coffee will just make your day.

Weirdly enough due to some circumstances, they were short staffed and still managed a very friendly 1 to 1 interaction. Im not usually giving 5 stars but under the circumstances performed above expectations. The meal lived up to its expectations and i was extremely satisfied with my visit.

Had an awesome eggs benedict for lunch lunch for some reason service was a bit slow otherwise would have given a 5 star

The coffee shake was fantastic! The food somewhat dissapointing. Burger bun was overly roasted to the point of falling apart and the chips portion was embarrassing small. It looked like an afterthought garnish. Also no flexibility on the menu or making dissatisfaction known... So you get what you get and that's it. However, the coffee saved it from getting 2 stars.

Lovely atmosphere. Food is upscale for a small town. Service is a bit slow, but friendly. I had a potato waffle with poached eggs. Loved it. Worth the wait.

We were a bit disappointed with the size of the portions. The Jalepeno Burger was tasty but not filling for an adult man. The patties were tiny. Also, we had to enquire after the onion rings that were not served with the burgers as per menu. The French toast which offered 3 white slices with bacon, turned out to be 3 half slice slices with a bite of bacon on each half. It was embarrassing for us, as we took our friends from Oudshoorn out for a good meal. The service of the waiter, however, was excellent.

So I was always a massive fan of this place until now. I get to the front door at 16:35 hoping to get a quick coffee... Business hours says closes at 17:00. Get to the front to only be told that cash out has happened and that cleaning has happened. Business hours states open till 17:00. I am highly disgusted in the fact that you guys close before your actual closing time. Shameful
