Lived there for 2 years. It was a peaceful experience. The kids playgrounds and swimming pool are well maintained. I really applaud the management and security. Only issue is privacy is limited, the kitchens are very small.Some units do not have showers so you may want to consider that before moving in. Aeroplanes pass directly above especially the units towards the gate. Oh and I hope they remove rental offices from there those flats are for dwelling/Living purposes not offices/business. Also forgot to mention there is a shooting range/shop just outside near the gate so at anytime you may be hearing gunshots.
This complex is unsafe.Stay away from this complex if you are a Polo Driver. Cars are stolen like nobody's business. This complex does have security guards at the gate but the complex is too big. It would be better if there was a guard post in the middle of the complex and also cameras all around.
If you want to live in a noisy and unsecure place, come through. The place needs to hire additional security as there have been numerous cars stolen in the past 6 months with security fully present. Security does not attend to noise complaints and the amenities in the complex are barely looked after. There’s also the issue with power outages now and then which definitely keeps things super interesting. It’s the cheapest ‘decent’ place in the area but it’s starting to seem to attract a certain crowd and I think the complex is just too big to manage by the past 2 managing agencies Alec Massel and Indluplace. There are multiple empty units for a good reason. Stay away.

What a nice and quiet place, when you think of a place that can manage your peace, and accommodate your family from young and the rest. Golden Oaks Complex gives you a very good peace of mind that you won't get out there. I love it here and you can as well with your family love it here. Thumps up for this wonderful complex.
Lovely complex but not easily accessible.
Very good place and secured but the body corporate should look into building sort of a entrance shade which protect drivers from rain when access the property as you need to use the biometric for access and when it's raining you find yourself wet in the car if it's heavy raining
I was impressed by the security and cleanliness in the complex. A great place for an aircraft spotter as its directly on the flight path to OR Tambo airport.
The place is good but they must invest in cameras inside the complex on key points since quite a big place
