The Nail Guru

Worst experience ever. I made an appointment at Nail Guru and sent a picture of what I wanted done with the colour of the acrylic due to a function I was attending. My appointment was booked, I was told they have the colour I wanted and that they would be able to do my nails like the picture I provided. Day before my appointment i was messaged saying they are fully booked. After many calls to them, my appointment was reconfirmed. On the day of my appointment i was told that they didn't have the colour therefore they couldn't do the nails I wanted. Due to my function the same evening, I had to settle with one of the colors provided to me. Frustrated and furious I said nothing and kept my composure, only to have my nails bumpy and totally uneven. I was still charged a hefty price of R310 to have unprofessional nails. Very disappointing,. I will never revisit Nail Guru again.

Called and requested to be squeezed in for a massage and manicure. The lady on the other side was very friendly and secured my booking in no time. The salon is clean, neat and we'll kept. The nail technician Thembi went out of her way to fix, shape and sculpt my natural nails. The massage was amazing, very professional and great ambience. The owner Jackie made me a cup of coffee and was just very jolly. Highly recommend Nail guru for anyone looking to get any treatments done.

Worst Experience i have ever had, i had nail Guru do Gel polish on my nails on a Saturday, they looked beautiful but only after 5 days they started chipping very badly casused by the nail not being sealed at the tip of the nail properly.. i went back and the very rude nail tech argued with me that gel only lasts a week which is Bull S* as i been having gel on my nails for over 10 years and it only happened to peel the odd time when the nail tech didnt seal the nail properly, but with every other nail salon they didnt argue and replaced my whole set free of charge... Nail Guru refused and just painted over the chip and didn't even bother to file the nail that snapped off because of their service!!! i dont recommend Nail Guru unless you only want your nails to last a few days! PS i did send them a message after my experience and was told the owner will be in contact with me..that was two days ago and no sign of the owner..

The Nail Guru is one of the best Beauty and Nail Specialists! Professional service, friendly and helpful staff, not to mention the brilliant courses they offer.

Definitely the only place to go to have your nails done for the matric dance. Friendly service. Complimentary coffee was great, thank you.

Highly recommended for all your hair and beauty services, the training centre attracted many students from far and wide and caters for all race groups, definitely recommended
