Paid a visit with friends, for an evening out. It was okay, not much to do. Though the music isn't bad & it's not so loud that talking is a struggle.Service: 2/5
I enjoyed my stay there,it's a good place with casino. I see some renovations happening,the dining area has new furniture and many more changes coming.
If you believe that this place has a good service, good food and historical value then your brow is lower than the cheap carpet covering the stairs. It's a rooms by the hour establishment, waitress will offer to get you some nice girls. Foos takes 50 minutes to charr a I&j meat patty and slap it onto yesterday's chips and a stone patty. Avoid.
Great food, the place is really old but historical

Still laughing when thinking about our experience, can only be described as a joke. Went there for breakfast, but about ended up as a lunch with all the delays due to being unprepared for any type of catering! Nobody to welcome you or assist upon entry either, you have to ask at the bar for someone to come & assist, as this was the only staff member around! The waitress had to be located to come & assist us, had to take & cancel & change orders a number of times due to availability, she also left to shop for items and had to prepare the food items and serve it, as well as handling the handwritten note indicating our bill. For her effort I have to commend her, though! Trying to consume time while waiting, I walked about as it is a historical building, and experienced bad management everywhere! The walls were peeling and dirty, a musty / dusty smell were where ever you walked about, and it seemed that the V-Slots were the only place of life in the whole building. This piece of history, with all the facilities to be a very successful hotel, should be nurtured and well managed, the management should be replaced urgently to conserve what is supposed to be the Jewel of Barberton!

Love the vibe, cool place just wish they could have a bigger space for the bar area
The Phoenix Hotel has been in existence since the Gold Rush, it has been modernised. Its in the old historical quarter of town where the gold diggers would assemble and enjoy themselves in years gone by. The management have worked hard and its the new fun place to be at in Barberton.
