We stay for just one night before entering the Kruger National Park. The service was very friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious.Rooms: 4/5
When we checked in, my fiance wanted to give the concierge our booking confirmation number and was then told he needed to provide a physical ID. They then proceeded to say that he booked a room with special needs hand shower and wheelchair which he didn't. Then he was told that his booking is for two people but breakfast will only be served to one person! This error could not be corrected on the system and needed to be escalated to the night shift manager. The service is utterly disgraceful and to drive 4 hours for a less than mediocre room as well as putting up with unprofessional staff is thoroughly disappointing -especially given the price paid. I would not recommend the hotel and am shocked that the reviews show 4 stars. I wouldn't give them one star. Due to this shocking service, I will not waste my time even considering the other branches. Rooms: Rooms were not in a great state. There was a musky smell in the bathroom upon arrival and their excuse was "its the drain". The aircon doesn't work either. An utter waste of my money.
Highly recommend!! Hotel staff are professional, friendly and very attentive. Probably one of the friendliest hotels I’ve ever stayed at in the world!! Everyone, regardless of the request, makes you feel important. Rooms are clean with all amenities & airconditioning is amazing. Location is perfect as you are within a few minutes of an easy walk to a shopping centre that offers restaurants, clothing, groceries etc.
The highs and narrow boom gate humps as you enter and exit the hotel are a nightmare, I drive a CLA200 and I cannot seem to be able to avoid my car hitting these newly painted unnecessary. I have raised the issue and offered them a demonstration, they refused for now. They asked me to wait for senior management to contact me. I wait.
Went for dinner.....never got it....waited for 2 hours for my dinner ...it never arrived..had 2 drinks and eventually left and went to the KFC down the road ... would never go there again unless I felt like not eating again... Terrible experienceService: 1/5
The staffs are friendly and helpful. I feel very warm welcomed there. I was assisted promptly with whatever requests I asked for. The food quality is great. The room is clean well maintained and the bed is very comfortable. Thank you for you kind hospitality.
Good service,nice rooms n view
Definitely not Protea standard, I always use Protea hotels but this one no no no, the rooms are soo old and the bathroom always looks soo filthy obviously because they are very old and the grout lines are now black from the original white, place desperately needs a revamp, the pool area is nice though kids loved that, the food was okay, stuff is mostly nice lady at the reception was very nice but some of the restaurant stuff need to improve they are not very welcoming, we walked in and was just told to go find somewhere to sit and yet we are a family of 5 and we needed our tables joined together, we were just standing there wondering if we should join the tables ourselves.
Horrible, I guess the service depends on who you are, 8 months pregnant forced to sit outside, very hot. Chef full of attitude complaining about the silly door, weeeee one will assume I paid half price. Thank you. Again their service gat conditions.
