The new look store after renovations is the best Checkers store servicing the community of Chatsworth. An example set for other Checkers stores to follow. You honestly will want to shop in this store. Hoping for continuous improvement and a well kept store always.
Beautifully renovated mall. Looks very classy for the area. Close to residential suburbs. Neat and tidy. A place to shop at. The newly revamped Checkers hyperstore is very classy and easy to shop

Very convenient place to do shopping, especially after the recent upgrade. This mall features many different stores such as Checkers Hyper, Clicks, and Mr Price. There are also a few new stores that are currently in the process of opening up after the upgrade. There is enough parking space, and safety isn't an issue as there are security guards who are constantly monitoring the place. It's always kept neat and clean. This mall never gets too busy, and it's always a pleasure to shop here.
Just loving shopping here..variety of stores great prices, checkers hyper is a bomb. Shopped in comfort no heavy traffic.
Was at cashbuild excellent service.. Then walked around the centre very neat and warm.
Well to be honest, I really missed this mall after it was looted and destroyed during the July 2021 Civil unrest. What a relief, to be shopping at a mall in your area, where infact to can find almost everything you need under one roof. The Checkers store is the biggest in the mall and the revamped store is bigger and better, love to have you'll back. The store's trading hours are 08:00 to 20:00 from Mondays to Sundays, which is absolutely necessary and convenient for the greater Chatsworth and surrounding areas. Renovations are still underway for the next phase with several other other stores and outlets planned which should be completed by mid year. Love this mall, happy to have back, "The Ridge Shallcross" PS... Well security wise, the entrances the mall is gated, much more safer than before, heavy security presence throughout the mall.
On the 23th of December, I drove into the ridge and was waiting for parking as there was a long wait due to the festive season. A trolley was parked at the most in convenience place, the McDonald's drive thru. Not fully aware of this, the trolley flew into my car, damaging it. My aunty then immediately got off and ran for assistance. The security guard and the ridge worker Zain came out and saw the damages and ensured me that everything was going to be sorted out. Days passed and there was no call, I had to keep calling thereafter where I was told to talk to this person and then that person. Eventually, the 'ridge' came to a conclusion that the customer who they tracking down for the trolley must pay and conveniently it was a Uber the customer jumped in so unfortunately they can't do anything. It is not my problem that the trolley was there, i did not put it there and I came into the ridge as a customer that felt safe as I always do, and then this had to happen. I don't feel as a paying customer that anyone should be treated this way. I mean the damage is not so bad that any part must be replaced or someone can not fix it and prevent this whole commotion. I spoke to Zain after calling a hundred times and then eventually he said that the checkers manager Kugan must sort it out since it's a checkers trolley, the manager did not call me up till this day. Then a guy from the security company phoned and he also ensured me that everything would be sorted, his name is nel. Then another guy from the security company called, he said the security company can't pay but I must phone Nel myself and plead with him. They have made something that happened in their premises, my responsibility. Was I wrong to look for parking? Was I wrong that the trolley came into my car?... I need my car to get sorted because at the end of the day, I'm paying for my car. Today is the 19th of January 2023, I will keep updating this post as to how the ridge is dealing with everything.

My favorite mall. It's small and convenient to the Shallcross community. Has a variety of shops and stalls.
