Excellent Location near all surrounding malls and shopping centers, walking distance to some. friendly host, lovely and very quite place with No lights out during load shading which was a just top of my stay with free wifi and another added incentive for my business trip with delicious and warm breakfast in the morning, mhhh :Rooms: 5/5
Our stay a nightmare 26 Sept 2021 Randburg guest house The fact that upon arrival the cleaner checked us in and when we got to our room what a shock. Bedding torn. So small you cannot open the fridge door. Tv is mounted at the Head board of bed. They do not answer their phones which makes you wonder if they exist. Damaged doors all over the room, paper print outs of stolen goods as well as thiefs that stole. Definately not swimming pool view like promised. No hairdryer no coffee station like promised on website. On the website they say they are 300m from Cresta, actually 3km. Nelson Mandela Square according to website 19km but actually 34km. 24hr security...its a lie there is no one. Very poor selection on breakfast and we decided not to stay and phoned the owner who was so rude! When confronted about our refund as well as that he is lying on the web as to what place it really is he accused us of being racist. Do not be fooled by his website its a lie! 3 star guest house......Definately not on tourism council standards! We lost R570 for our stay and had to take out additional money for another place. This place is not booking.com standard its an embarrassment!
I booked the room. I paid the room. The poor lady staying there was very nice, the owners was rude and abrasive. I was given a bed in the lounge. They then told me the empty house was fully booked unless I pay an extra R600. When trying to contact the booking people, there was only silence. Don't go there. Don't stay there. It's terrible.
Lovely place to stay in the heart of the hustle bustle. Kind people was met by King very compassionate and Fikile was my Girl she was always eager to assist what a kind soul. But best of all they are pet friendly! Me and my doggy stayed wonderfully enjoyed the nature her own little court yard. Will be visiting again! WARNING!!<br/>NEVER STAY AT THIS GUESTHOUSE!!<br/>When we arrived, I called and I was told that a woman would be opening for me soon. The woman that let us in was very rude. She ignored me twice when I asked her where the entrance is and then she shouted at me when I asked her the third time. She also said that she left me outside on purpose because she saw me kissing my girlfriend on the cameras outside the gate. The worst part is that she told my girlfriend that I came to the guesthouse with a different girl recently. <br/>We were very uncomfortable and wanted to leave. I regret staying there in the first place because of that woman. Nobody should be exposed to such horrible customer service.<br/>Don't waste your money at this guest house.
Made and paid for a booking a week ago - had to cancel the booking an hour later due to urgent personal matters that arose - all this happened before 8am - the business day hadn't even commenced as yet - they charged the full amount of the booking fee as a cancellation fee even the R60 complimentary breakfast that came with the deal - refusing to refund any of the monies paid -this is nothing less than theft. You should be ashamed.
Hired this venue last year. The management was full of smiles beforehand. We had taken the utmost care of the venue. When it came to returning my deposit, they came up with a bunch of excuses and refused to return my deposit for a year now. No response to my many follow up emails either. Disgusting service from what was advertised to be a professional establishment.
This is such a beautiful place with great hospitality. The lady who served us had so much care and was of great help.Rooms: 5/5
