What a joke this place is. Lying in a review and being the owner. That's funny. Went there last Saturday and they close at 9:45. There was a customer passed out on a table and someone still belting out music at karaoke. This place proves that customer service and importance of customers is not respected. That place will be up for sale again within the year.
Love this place, and not just because I own it, lol. I do have to be honest about that. We have an amazing and eclectic mix of clientele. The best wings and garlic burger in town. Let's not forget the classic Halifax style donair made in house. Our sandwiches and salads will knock your socks off! And we can't forget our standard ooey gooey deep friend magic pub fare. If you don't know, now you know!
Ordered lemon pepper and Montreal steak seasoning wings along with garlic bread with cheese. Wings were crispy so that earns them 2 starts and the lady behind the bar I picked them up from was nice so that earns them the third Do not buy their garlic bread, for 10 bucks you get 4 pieces of toast with shredded cheddar cheese and garlic salt on it. We threw it out. The wings could definately use more flavoring would be my only recommendation on how to make them better
Went to the "new" Thirsty's new ownership last night for first time, and I have to admit that I was expecting a little bit more. More of what? Well, let's start off with the food. The wings we had the medium and suicide were mediocre, heavy on sauce and light on actual flavour. The suicide ones were very hot and this from a guy that loves his wings hot! But they lacked a depth of flavour you can get at other outfits. The wife said the same about her wings, they lacked flavour. The burger, fries and gravy were all good, actually not bad at all. Would have potentially given an extra star, but I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for my food to be brought out. I was told on the phone when I placed the order to come pick it up in 20 minutes, but when I showed up they said it will be 10 more minutes. I sat there for a half hour before the food was ready. I would have been fine with the extra time, all they had to say on phone was "come in 50 minutes" instead. Maybe next time the timing issue will be resolved.
The Thirstmas Box from Thirstys Waterloo. Pros: Price: $30 + tax Deep fried delight Surf and Turf Cons: Mushroom balls are a acquired taste not my forte Need special sauces Overall lot of deep fried goodness. Would require a good hour workout to burn all the fat.
Most amazing bar, so cozy, such friendly staff and people if you ever get the chance pls come and have a drink and the foods great! Me & my bf had the best time with the ppl there and the personal service
First time there, I admit I was attended to well, and the customer service was top notch. No complaints. I enjoyed the garlic burger and tried the side plate of fries, but came home and an hour later got diarrhea. I took home multiple types of wings, but there was not enough sauce for all of them. The sauce to wing ratio was disappointing. The fries were very dark after being fried, and it's possible that it is what caused me to not be well. I have had fries from A&W that were far better. I admit that toppings were perfect on the burger, nothing stood out as too much, but I don't like the hard centre core left in a slice of tomato, as it's inedible, and can destroy your teeth if bite down on it. I don't know what caused the diarrhea but the wings I had after that I brought home were fine. No diarrhea occurred from them at least.

Absolutely amazing service from the owner Liz. The food was also delicious as was the Ceasar. Liz went above and beyond, and my daughter is going to be pumped when I get home with the Mac&Cheese bites. Thank you for excellent service and great food, we will definitely be back when we are in the area again.
