We recently had the most incredible time at Tomjachu Bush Retreat, and we just had to share our experience. This place is pure magic! The lodge itself is a hidden gem. Elegant and comfortable, it blends seamlessly with the natural surroundings. The warm and friendly staff went above and beyond throughout our entire stay, and we felt fully immersed in nature, enjoying the rolling mountains, wildlife, and African sunsets... I can't even describe how incredible they were. We capped things off with a bit of adventure on the mountain biking trails too! We cannot wait to come back... Pure bliss! Rooms: cosy and spacious! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Tomjachu, and I must say, it was an absolutely incredible experience! Its stunningly beautiful and the accommodation was simply outstanding. My room was tastefully decorated, providing both comfort and elegance. The attention to detail was remarkable, with all the amenities I could possibly need for a luxurious stay. The staff at Tomjachu went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and ensure my stay was nothing short of perfect. From the warm and friendly welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my visit, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident at every turn. They were always available to assist with any inquiries or requests, making me feel like a valued guest. One of the highlights of my stay was the incredible natural beauty that surrounded us. The sweeping landscapes provided a peaceful and serene atmosphere, allowing me to truly unwind and reconnect with nature. The variety of walking trails and hiking routes available allowed me to explore the area, and I even encountered some local wildlife along the way. The food at Tomjachu was delicious. The meals were expertly prepared, showcasing local flavors and fresh ingredients. The restaurant had a cozy and inviting ambiance, and the views from the dining area added an extra touch of magic to every meal. I would like to add that Jack, our host at Tomjachu, deserves special recognition for his exceptional hospitality and expertise. He went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was memorable and unforgettable. Jack's passion for the surrounding wilderness was infectious, and his knowledge about the local flora and fauna was truly impressive. During my stay, Jack kindly took me on a guided bush walk, sharing his deep understanding of the area's ecosystem and its inhabitants. It was an incredible experience to explore the trails with someone so knowledgeable and passionate about the natural world. Jack's enthusiasm was contagious, and his storytelling added an extra layer of fascination to the journey. I wholeheartedly recommend Tomjachu to anyone seeking a slice of paradise.

Fabulous Lodge! We recently stayed at Tomjachu in the Valbonne Villa and absolutely loved it. The house and rooms are beautifully decorated, very clean and provide a lot of comfort and feeling of coziness. Although it was winter we couldn't help ourselves and had to have a swim in the beautiful pool with its breathtaking view. It is also nice to have the option of making fire inside or outside to sit around outside you can obviously braai as well. I can highly recommend Tomjachu for a true African bush experience.

Our stay of one and a half weeks at Tomjachu was amazing! We could not have picked a better place for our honeymoon. Everything, from the fantastic food to the great service and friendly staff was outstanding. 10/10 would recommend this game lodge to friends and family. Some of the activities, such as the game drive and star gazing, is an absolute must! You can expect very well presented, high quality and delicious food from their very talented chef. The hiking trails are great - beautiful views and difficulty of trails vary so anyone can hike! Almost guaranteed to see animals. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable - generous amenities: you can enjoy a good cup of tea or coffee in the morning with home-made rusks. Only great things to say about this place and team! The location is everything you need and more for a bush escape. Tranquil walks, hikes, cycling and stargazing amongst the wildlife or relaxing by the pool/patio, which is decorated with such detail. The food was immaculate and the team was so wonderfully organised and kind. I could not recommend Tomjachu enough.

More than a 5star experience! What a wonderfull and beautifull place. The staff is super friendly and kind, the food is delicious and helpfull. We only stayed for 3 days, but could definatly be here more days. The views are lovely and we saw zebra’s, a giraffe, lots of species related antilopes. Best place!

We loved our weeklong stay at the Valbonne Villa! Great hiking options with lots of local wildlife. Very accommodating food restrictions with delicious meal choices. An amazing place to enjoy a getaway.

Every member of staff made you feel so welcome & were really accommodating. The nature walk and game drive were really interesting, the views are beautiful. The breakfasts & dinners were lovely. The rooms were really clean. I would really recommend staying here!Rooms: 4/5

I loved it, it was peaceful with privacy. The Bush cottage is lovely, big enough for 4 but cosy enough for 2. The cottage is well equipped and has a private pool. We enjoyed the bush dinner, it was beautiful and the nature drive was lovely thanks to our guide. Awesome place. Definitely recommend.
