Very spacious rooms! Such respectful hospitality from the host and security. Definitely worth the fee.Rooms: 5/5
Awesome customer service and we'll mannered staff. I enjoyed staying here though we hardly spent time as we would leave in the morning and come back at night. The rooms are nice and clean equipped with an aircon which helped a lot seeing its winter. The rooms have showers not sure if some have bathtubs as we booked only 4 rooms. It's a self catering place though not sure if they cater for breakfast as I never asked. It would be nice if the owners can consider having micro ovens in the rooms and rechargeable lights when loadshedding takes place. Overall the place is beautiful and peaceful.
The difference with the rooms we had,was not that much.I think standard room are better than executive room. The executive rooms are not the same,although we paid the highest price but it was disappointing .Swimming pools were dirty and the rules thereof were a bit harsh. There is no was you can go to the pool without making noise or splash water. The lady in the reception was excellent. This up to Gracia
Only the staff was great. The family room had a lot of faults. The Fridge, the bed, cleanliness, couches are dirty. The staircase going to the children's bedroom broke, what a risk. I have travelled to a lot of places and I have never seen such. The place is not maintained. I do not recommend it at all.
This was my second time staying at the property. This time we had no wifi for the duration of the stay. We did inform the staff but nothing was done. We had no hot water for 2 days. We notified staff the first day and nothing was done. Hot water and wifi is part of what we paid for. Rather disappointingRooms: 3/5
Rooms are smelly. Place is not clean. They have cats roaming everywhere. Definitely not what we saw on the picturesRooms: 2/5
It's a great place. The rooms have different bathrooms, some have showers and the other have bathtubs. My room had this beautiful garden view next to the bathtubRooms: 4/5
I travel around the country a lot with my work & this is the worst place I've stayed in -On the 1st day when we got there the remotes to the parking lot were given to our white colleaguesby a black lady by the way & us the 3 black guys were told by the lady @ reception that our cars will be parked outside..."it's safe there's a guard @ night" -For the duration of the time we were there2 long weeksthe service was very selective.eg.our white colleagues would be told to not be shy if the food wasn't enough,one of them asked for more stake & it was given to him but when the colored guy asked it was said there isn't enough for everyone -The ownerwho stays in the premiseshas a dog that barks a lot & makes noise This is a very racist lodge & I will NEVER IN A MILLION YEARS RECOMMEND FOR ANYONE WHOSE BLACK TO GO STAY THERE... You are most welcome to forward it to my colleagues & superiors,I never get intimidated especially when I know I am right I KNOW WHAT I SAW AT YOUR GUESTHOUSE & I WILL NOT SPEAK NICE ABOUT YOUR PLACE WHEN I GOT A BAD TREATMENT.Try intimidate someone else not me right
Of all the guest houses I've been to with my work related countrywide travels, this is by far the worst guest house I have been to, the white colleagues I was with got a very special and attentive treatment, even at the dining hall during dinner, the food is supposed to be served at first come first serve basis, but it was a whites first, blacks last basis and there are no candles or lights in the rooms in case of a load shedding, the two nights when there was load shedding one was forced to sleep, I hated my stay from the very first night and I wouldn't spend my money sleeping here, THIS PLACE IS THE WORST.
My name is spelled wrong number one. The staff is really great. But the room is filthy,the bed quality is bad. The place requires maintenance a lot of it. We had to change the bed and fridge that's how bad was. I will never come back here.
