Tsogo Sun Garden Court Hotel South Beach

We enjoyed our stay here but the bed is very old, instead of waking up feeling fresh, you wake up with back pains, we saw the mattress without sheets, very disgusting . The curtains smell awful, I don’t think they’ve ever been washed, the carpet smells horrible.They put a “hotel menu” in the rooms but they don’t serve any of the meals, when you call, they tell you to order at spur. Their breakfast was nice and the staff is very friendly . It’s a nice hotel with a great view of the sea, they just need improvements. They must increase their budget for proper cleaning and maintenance.

Location is perfect. I really enjoyed their food, both breakfast and dinner. The service was excellent. The room was neat, however bit of work is required on the furniture which appears to be worn out. I stayed on the 12th floor and the carpet is quite dirty and the passage looks quite dull, painting is urgently required. Otherwise I had a great experience

I had a great time during my stay at the Garden Court South Beach Hotel. The indoor area was clean including the bedrooms, breakfast area and elevators. I'd definitely recommend this place to people I know and don't know. Keep up the good work.Rooms: 4/5

The staff was just amazing from the time we checked, it was soo windy that day, we hadn’t paid for parking and they gave complimentary parking in the basement. The only downside was it started leaking in our room which they offered to change but we opted to stay as it would hv been a mission packing up the kids and we were checking out the following day anyway. Also didn’t like that we couldn’t open windows because of the renovations

The view from the rooms facing the sea is breath taking! The carpet should go though, it's not vacuumed every day, the breakfast was nice, although the last day i saw one of the kitchen staff pick a sausage from the table top and put it back into the chaffing dish, in my full view, i was shocked!Location: 5/5

The hotel is loud and busy but that’s the location it’s situated at. Reception is lovely especially Lihle ! She is a superstar. All in all great fun we had.Rooms: 4/5

Great place to stay,the rooms are clean and their staff is super friendly. They just need to put better smelling soaps in the room bathrooms and change the breakfast a bit,if you stay there for a few days you will eat the same breakfast over and over

Located at beach front...so great view from the top. The room is clean, but the downside is that they allow smoking. Very disappointed when going down for breakfast and was told I could not eat in the restaurant and they would bring the food to my room. Tried to reason with the waiter, but he was a bit rude. Didn't want to prolong the argument, so I left for my room. Also was warned not to go out at night. Rooms: cĺean and comfortable Nearby activities: Surfing, swimming and beach strolling Safety: Not so safe at night Walkability: Walking distance to Malls and restaurants Food & drinks: Great choices for big eater

What an awesome experience. Customer service was on point. The best part was waking up to the beautiful sea view and the great breakfast.Rooms: 5/5

Our stay was Good, the cleaning staff is amazing but there was a rude lady at Reception. Their breakfast buffet needs to be improved.Rooms: 4/5
