Tuks Rural Health is a student society which focuses on Rural Health Care and promoting this as more than just a viable employment option, but increasing student awareness to the fact that it is an opportunity to make a difference.
The primary focus of this society is to equip and mould health care professionals with the necessary knowledge to impact the rural communities which they will serve.
It exists to raise awareness about the state of Rural Health Care in Southern Africa and by so doing create a desire to serve rural communities where their assistance is needed most.
