Twin Gables Guest House is a family-run business, situated in Mamre, only 50kms or less than an hour's drive from Cape Town. Your hosts are Dawn, Scott and Travis Petersen. Mamre is historically a Moravian Mission Station, and is well known for its many national monuments. It has a rich history of missionaries that came from Germany to spread the Christian faith. It also served as an outpost for the British Military. Subsequently, many of the surviving buildings have been declared national monuments, including Die Langhuis, Church and the Old Mill.
The Twin Gables Guest House offers you an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Even though it is situated only 50kms from Cape Town, it provides all the peace and tranquillity one would normally associate with the countryside. The balcony provides breathtaking views of unpolluted clear blue skies during the day and evening skies filled with brightly-lit celestial bodies which light up the whole village
It's very close proximity to the industrial town of Atlantis(7kms away), makes us ideally situated for companies conducting business in Atlantis.
The very spacious kitchen is ultra-modern with both electric and gas stoves. A separate scullery and pantry complete the kitchen area. Laundry facilities are available in the scullery.
The upstairs area has a guest lounge leading to the outside balcony. There are 3 twin-bedrooms with three bathrooms and showers.
Outside, a single self-catering unit exist sleeping 2 persons.
