Tzaneen Country Lodge

Visited the place on a business trip. I was allocated a room with a broken door. The people at reception were very indifferent in dealing with my complaint. The room was not cleaned. The Lady that was asked to come and clean only brought a broom. She swept for the sake of sweeping.She displayed attitude. I wonder if the owners do read the reviews. Only complacent owners do not look at the Clients comments Food & drinks: Food was cooked outside with 3 legged pots. The food was never enough for the trainees.

Staff were super friendly and helpful. The aircon in my room couldn't reach warm setting even though I set it at 31 degrees and it was freezing. Plus the hot water supply was faulty for two days in a row, it was literally drops of water coming off the faucet. But the breakfast service and variety made the stay worth it!Rooms: 3/5

We found a snake in our room, the water was closed and had low pressure, we were served dry left overs for Christmas dinner. The rooms are dusty and not well maintained. Theres a huge hole by the light switch. The grounds are dirty and they decided to burn leaves on the 26th of Dec right next to our pool area. Overall it was an expensive and horrendous experience

Love the lodge and the rooms and the staff, but the maintenance work occurring just after 7am, in the roof space above my room is not the one. Far too early, and far too loud.Rooms: 5/5

Beautiful lodgeabsolutely enjoyed my time therebreakfast had great variety ..unfortunately the lunch and dinner menus were not so impressive...but perhaps the spa had better food. Otherwise all great,will definitely come back again!Rooms: 5/5

Excellent place to visit, clean rooms, attentive staff but not overly. The only negative is the bar allows smoking & it wasn't pleasant. Pool area & onsite spa a good addition. The in house restaurant is not a good place to dine for Vegans/vegetarians.Rooms: 5/5

The lodge is located strategically cause its able to attract people who are entering Tzaneen. People who are from Phalaborwa,Giyane and Nelspruit are forced to see it before they enter Tzaneen. The conference wall that was giving to us was not properly arranged but through communication they met our reguest. This time the service was not wow cause it took long to serve what i ordered

It's a nice place. I went there for workshop and I had a great time with my colleagues. The food is amazing; I enjoyed boat ride, and a great time watching animals. Their pools are also clean. It's a very interesting place for meetings, weddings, camping, and a lot more.Rooms: 3/5

I enjoyed my stay at the lodge, the staff was very friendly and welcoming. I missed my breakfast because I was busy working, but the staff offered me special breakfast for takeaway, so sweet! The food was first class, thanks to the Chef. Oh And I had the best Orange juice ever! I need to come back for more Juice
