Ukhamba Beerworx is a beer lovers heaven! They have a delicious selection of beers from largers to IPAs. I really enjoy their black IPA as well as their White Milk Stout. On Sundays you can enjoy a generously portioned meal with their Lamb spit braai highly recommend this and it pairs well with a cold beer. I enjoyed the beautiful views of the ocean and they have a live DJ to further complement the brews and views with some banging tunes. Fridays, they have a karaoke night which is super fun. they have happy hour specials too. I enjoy myself every time I’m here and the staff are pretty great folk too!
G’day mate, Just wanted to give you some feedback about today. I’ll start off by saying that to say I’m disappointed would be an understatement. Despite the booking being 12pm, we arrived at 12:30. The staff were not ready for us in the slightest. - the joint resembled an empty warehouse and was not reflective of the pictures online. Where’s all your furniture gone? The fact you had an event last night is not my problem. We’ve come all the way from Australia for this day and you didn’t deliver what you advertised! - service was abysmal. Have these people every worked behind a bar or poured a beer ?? Totally inattentive. No idea about the products on offer. “Full bar”? I’ve got a bigger selection at home! - service was Slow. Staff were totally Incompetent. - braii wasn’t serviced until 2:40pm despite our booking concluding at 2:45 to depart for another booking. - beer was warm, poured from a jug because your kegs weren’t working properly. Absolutely zero head. Beer was flat and weird tasting. - I had to personally get drinks from the bar and wait them to tables because your bar staff couldn’t keep up - no DJ or entertainment despite you advertising there would be. I had to resort to bluetoothing my own music to inject some atmosphere into the joint. Your only saving grace was that the food was flavourful but was rushed. Massive disappointment to the day. I’ll be leaving a review on your socials to this effect. Clean your act up. The service offered today was well below par! Absolutely not good enough! We would of spent much more money but your staff were unable to meet the demand
Incredible craft beer spot nestled in Cape Town. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered us tasters of any beer we liked. Once we picked our drinks 1 lager, 1 blonde we sat outside on the patio above the harbor. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a more peaceful drink in the busy Waterfront area.
Love this place! Love the staff, the food, the vibe and just everything about it. I enjoy the #SpitBraaiSundays the most. It's a lovely chilled vibe with great food and cool DJs entertaining the relaxed and easy going crowd. The beer is also very good. They have a fully stocked bar, so unlike the name suggests, you can also have something else to drink with your meat !

I was one of the first to see this amazing place ahead of its opening and want to go back there for one of the amazing Ukhamba beers, food and this view!
Always great having a beer or two here. Cruise ships are back in the harbour as well. Welcome to Cape Town!
Love the names of the beer AND the beer. Can't wait to come and try the new black IPA that wasn't on tap yet when we popped in. I especially love that you can buy a big glass bottle from them and bring it back for refills. A great way to save a couple cents on great craft beer, but also great for the environment. I wish all breweries would do this #supportwoodstock :D
A great taste of locally brewed beer, a sense of true African reflection. its one of those places you rather spend your Friday afternoons without any single doubt. Great work by Pele and Lethu!
The beer is simply incredible. The crowd is beautiful and nice and mixed. The space is great. Make sure to try their black IPA and all the other ones!
