University Of Free State

Not very first year friendly for off -campus students and there aren't many options in terms of niche student associations/clubs and activities. In terms of student recreational activities there's not a wide variety. There's not much that happens on campus on a day to day either. If there is, there is no communication about said activities. The grounds are well maintained.

One of the largest/ bigger Institution in S.A. and very easy to access information

Great institution for studies, the environment is safe and welcoming. There's security everywhere around campus

What an absolutely administrative nightmare the MBA administrators create from the Business School. If this is the level of "service" you receive for something you are paying for ... think twice. These people can go and learn from other institutions - probably the biggest deterent for prospective students to take up studies at the Business School. Five thumbs down

Appalled, disgusted, disappointed in the lack of empathy for students. One can never recover from the public and humiliating academic exclusion that the student suffered. The impact of this experience, to this day, is devastating.

Words cannot express how dissatisfied I am with the kind of service I'm getting front this university. I'm currently enrolled for an online course..... Wow! You'll get a series of messages reminding you to make payments on time meanwhile, you'll make calls and emails back and forth trying to get your module loaded on their blackboard amd guess what? You'll struggle until you give up. I really just can't wait to do the last two modules and I'll be done because I'm so rid of this university. I wouldn't advice anyone to study with them unless of course if you are ready to deal with inprofesssionality at its best. I'm done with University of the Free State.

I studied a Short Learning Program in Marketing and Digital Marketing in 2023. Registration was very simple and straight forward, I was able to access academic articles throughout the course and year. The lessons were all done online and enquiries were done via WhatsApp and email. The whole studying experience was very positive. I strongly recommend studying with the University of the Free State if you would like to further your studies.

There are a lot of cute picture worthy spots and the campus is well taken care of. You see students walking around moving from class to class. It's a lively environment for students to learn and experience.
