Venda Task and Casino Hotel

Khoroni was our home for a month. I was with my husband, he was working. The restaurant’s service is way below standard. Terrible! we would order dinner around 7 pm and we’ll get it around 9 pm and after calling so many times. And o my for the food to be served cold. The staff at the restaurant is also rude and they have their people. However,The rooms are very clean and spacious. The cleaners were very nice and kind. Another pointer, it would have been nice to have a variety of food to choose from on the breakfast buffet or packs. It’s not nice eating bread and cheese for the whole month.

Very good and safe hotel in the area.

I liked the hotel. The rooms are big, beautifully decorated, comfortable bed, clean fresh sheets, working air conditioner and a proper bar fridge. I was pleasantly suprised especially because its in a "village". Breakfast was nice and dinner was also good. I loved their stew and veggies.Rooms: 4/5

The hotel has seen better days..the outside view from far is terrible doesn't look like a hotel/casino..rooms are old and coughes are not clean..staff is friendly, the problem is the check in queue there is always one person assisting and have to wait for too long..this time dinner was good but the breakfast was not. Khoroni has been our preferred hotel for years, the current quality has deteriorated so much.

Why wait 2 hours for a simple meal? It's not like I asked them to catch and slaughter a crocodileRooms: 3/5

Terrible service regarding double bookings. We were taken from pillar to post and none of our problems were resolved. Booking manager never even bothered to attend to us, nevermind answering his/her land-line. We eventually had to look for alternative accommodation. Imagine all the way from Pretoria and be treated like this while our bookings were confirmed prior to our arrival.

All is well. I wouldn't mind visiting the place again. Ladies at kitchen entrance are too serious for my liking

A very good place to go to after a hard day's work. Rooms spacious, very good bathrooms. Food is also good as they also give visitors chance to choose sitting in or choosing from their menu. Their staff also are always eager to assist. Walkability: It's situated in the CBD, so that most establishments can be reached by walking. University of Venda, banks, shopping center and also public transport is just across the road from the hotel
