Vida e Caffe Kloof Street

Not via uber eats. Got the wrong order I ordered a breakfast crobun. Thats fine errors happen, but giving me a unedible old burger is not acceptable quality wise. The lettuce was so old it was a combination of slimey and dry brownish outer edges. Felt like yesterday's leftovers.

Very good and friendly service from locals, for once. Pretty much a regular vida vibe save the music... There was no music, just soft quiet ambience from kloof street. I would go again...Food: 5/5

This is how my coffee was delivered. I have never ordered such rubbish coffee before. They tried to prevent the coffee from spilling and yet it went everywhere! You don’t see this nonsense when you order from Starbucks and they definitely don’t wrap their coffee in flipping plastic wrap!

The service here is good, friendly staff and it has a nice atmosphere to it. I would recommend this spot if you visit Capetown. Clean & Safe

Ordered via UberEats. Frittata was burned to a crisp. Muesli contained yoghurt that was sour and off - health hazard. Extremely disappointed in this very poor food quality.

Small café but don't be fooled, the coffee is as good as ever and the staff extra friendly to make it worth your wait

They have gluten-free Toasties here that use delicious gluten-free bread. They also use Butta Nut oat milk, which is registered gluten-free. What's more, every time we've gone in to this location the staff are very kind, friendly, and efficient. They also went above and beyond by taking a request from my wife to prepare her Toastie dairy-free- senza cheese and without toasting it with butter. Bravo, Vida e Caffè!

What an amazing place. This morning has been really hard for me. I have training with a marketing company until 3 and a meeting in Kloof street for an au pair position at 3:30. And because I stay in Table View I had to find a place with WiFi. But also this morning has been really hard. On my way here my mom told me that my grandmother passed away. When I arrived at this store the I was in tears with swollen eyes and smashed mascara. I tried to stop myself from crying because vulnerability is just not in my personality but I couldn’t. I immediately felt like I needed a very strong coffee it’s 8:40 in the morning and I had so many questions for God. I wanted see my granny one more time and hug her just a little longer. I was broken. But I tough so hard for this marketing position on top of that I have an au pair interview. Just cause I always have a plan B and a second income never hurts. By the way I’m 7 hours from Grandpas house. And 4 hours from my parents. I felt very alone and sad. The person who helped me said don’t worry everything will be okay as he poor me my coffee. For a moment I refuse to look up. Because I know I look like a clown with my smashed mascara. He poor me my coffee and come walk to the edge of the counter. You beautiful and we makes the best coffee it’s gonna take everything away. I didn’t hear half what he said my brain was in space. I spill the coffee, don’t worry he said I’ll clean it. But here is a cocoa mini slab he said it will make you feel better. Thank you I responded. I already felt better. Surround with great people and the best WiFi. So I made myself comfortable in a soft chair. Well by break time I needed to use the bathroom. But I also couldn’t log out of the zoom as I was log into my training and only a 15 minute break. So he explain we apologize we don’t have the convenience of a bathroom. But you can go up the street 2 minutes walk from here to Engine they have a very clean bathroom. I ask him if he can keep an eye on my laptop. Yes of course no worries he said take your time. I was away about 10/14 minutes. Come back to a laptop and pencils everything just as I left it. Soft calming music in the background with smiling clients. I was just happy that I wasn’t alone today. This is why I love South Africa . Thanks Vida. I felt very heart soar and alone. You made me feel so much better without knowing it. I’ll definitely come here if I can’t pay my WiFi bill . A good place yo work from. Clean and neat, considering and friendly.
