44 Villa Palma is a luxury guest house conveniently situated in a safe and secure area of Kimberley. The guest house provides easy access to the city centre, airport, significant landmarks and museums in and around Kimberley. Most of these are within 2-5 km from the guest house.
All immaculately clean and spacious rooms have double/queen/king size beds, equipped with electric blankets, air-conditioner, a fridge and hair dryer and selected DSTV channels. Corporate rooms are situated around the pool area whilst the Standard rooms provide privacy and comfort close to the dining room. Secure parking and wi-fi is included in the rate. An on-site gym is open all day.
During the week the guest house is predominantly frequented by business travelers whilst weekends tend to be more quiet- making it ideal for the tourist or visitor wanting to spend a relaxing evening or weekend in Kimberley. A separate braai area is available to guests to braai or relax in.
In addition to the 10 guest rooms a spacious conference room equipped with wi-fi, a network point, data projector, flip chart, screen and fireplace can conveniently accommodate 14 delegates. The conference room walks out onto a huge balcony overlooking the garden with is 6 huge palm trees- giving the guest house its name. Whilst the age of these massive palm trees is not know the main house dates from 1912. Since then it has undergone two major expansions and upgrades- the first one in 1955 and the most recent one in 2007. During these care was taken to retain some of the original character of the house.
