A clean and well-managed club. Friendly staff. Plenty of equipment to go around. I even manage to find a set of 14 kg dumbbells on Saturday mornings, which are meant to be a busy slot. The kick classes are on fire. Wanda is the best I have seen in a while....reliable to run classes, punctual, has good technique, caters to individuals of different fitness levels and considers everyone in a class. I would follow him to a lot of places.

Came to check out the pool which is top-notch, clean and safe to swim in. I wouldn't mind coming to train here for winter time. Staff are kind, friendly and helpful.
I HAVE NO REVIEW - why?? because I cant even get hold of the place to be able to give a review?? I have reported this to their Head Office and STILL no answer when I call - I think after 14 attempts at calling this mystery place I believe they dont need my families membership, they have enough income!! WHAT A PITY that such a wellknown gym cannot aford a receptionist to answer calls or even have an electronic answering machine!!! TYPICAL SA SERVICE - THANX A LOT GUYS!!!
I don't train here. Just visiting with my wife that need assistance with a medical condition. I enjoy a cup of coffee or a smoothie while I am waiting. Staff are very friendly.
Used to go there for years, used to the place: when compared with other clubs, equipment is way too old and many of the advanced things missing...but the basics is there. And very spacious, with friendly and helpful management

The gym is always clean when I'm there. Well ventilated. Does sometimes get full but there's enough capacity to observe covid-19 regulations. Could use an upgrade of older equipment to the newer kind for esthetic reasons but the old equipment still works just as well. I love the staff here, strict but friendly. My gym of choice!
Equipment complaint. After several months of complaining to the staff about the Wattbikes software no longer working with the prescribed app I am still being ignored. Not sure if the staff actually knows how these bikes work.... Nonetheless, after explaining to after tonight the 5th staff member on what the error entails, I am told that a call will be logged. Why is this issue not being attended to? We pay a monthly fee to the gym with the agreement that we can use the equipment and it will be maintained. This is not the case at Vanderbijlpark Virgin Active. Either fix the software or replace the bikes.
