Vivere La Vita

I am so sad that I can only award 5 stars. I would give 1000 if I could. If you want to relax and enjoy nature this is for you. We had the most wonderful weekend and will be back soon. Great fishing, and it felt as if we were visiting family. Lovely accommodation but we did not see a lot of it because we were outside enjoying this beautiful place.

We took a mid week break. It was a wonderful experience. The setting is tranquil and peaceful, just the place to unwind. The owners are friendly , welcoming and very accommodating. I loved the fact that the animals roamed free and that you can interact with them. We will certainly go back. Thank you Francois and Cornell

Myself and my Fiancé decided to have a "Fake Honeymoon" after not being able to get married due to Covid and border restrictions. And after 2 years of stalking Vivere La Vita, we finally made the booking. And I must say! We were not disappointed! Cornell and her husband were phenomenal hosts! We arrived Thursday and were greeted by 1 of the several happy pups, a cute little Goat and surrounded by springbok and the gorgeous view of the river! ... What a way to start a "Fake Honeymoon"! We were settled into our "Houtkapper" unit, situated on their little dam, isolated from the actual camp site. Finally! Just me and my man, disconnected from the world, and if you're looking for a place to find peace in your soul, or a place that is quiet enough that you can hear God... This is the place to go! I also want to mention that I had Contacted Cornell about needing a cake for my Fiancé whose birthday fell on Saturday. Cornell offered to bake a cake for him... Absolutely divine! She made it so special for us all weekend! I couldn't be more grateful for the effort and detail that has been put into Vivere La Vita We will be back for sure! Next time we going to catch a fish

What an amazing experience we had at Vivere la Vita. Everyone is welcomed on arrival by the owners. The camp sites are neatly spaced with lights, water and electricity. Trees provide sufficient protection from the sun. Neat walkways down to the water with enough space for fishing and camping without bothering ones neighbour's. Would recommend any fishing and camping enthusiasts to visit Vivere la Vita!

Absolutely beautiful spot. Had the most incredible weekend, cried literal tears when I had to leave. Kids had such a ball - fishing and seeing all the animals. Gorgeous, space. Will be back very soon. Thank you to Cornelle and Franshua for being such wonderful hosts.

Exellent fishing clean bathrooms. Highly recommended. Wil definitely see me again. Well doe Cornel and Francois.

Gorgeous setting for a picnic or a camping / fishing trip on the banks of the Vaal River in the Vredefort Dome. Friendly goats, friendlier people, stunning venue.

A very relaxing and quite get away on the banks of the Vaal river.the owners are very friendly and helpfull.definitly a 5 star break away.will recommend this place to anybody that enjoys a quite get away

What a beautiful and peaceful place. We stayed in the Boat House and we will recommend it to anyone. Friendly staff and amazing owners. Cornel and Francois went out of their way to make us feel welcome, and when our son got sick did everyrhing they could to assist us. Will miss all the animals specially the dogs that kept us company during our whole stay.
