I love movies! And the cinema experience of buying, your ticket, getting your snacks and walking into a darkened room is well held by Ster Kinekor. The staff is friendly and willing to assist. My only reason for giving it 4 stars, is that there is a considerable gap between the seating and the screen. The distance is noticeable and felt prior to the screen's activation. It doesn't interfere with your watching experience however. I look forward to trying out their Prestige lounge for a luxury cinema experience.
Service not so great and accommodating. Even though it was not busy, the lady selling popcorns refused to assist me use their self service snack machine instead, she insisted that her area is a point of collection not to buy. Found it very odd as not everybody is techno able!.
Plenty of self help interfaces extremely clean and very friendly stuff members. The cinemas are big and neat and safe, would definitely recommend this Sterkinekor
Comfy seats, big screen, clean cinema, a long slide down the one side of the cinema seats ending in a pool full of soft cubes, probably only in the kids cinemas though freshly popped popcorn, slush puppy, packet of whispers - what more can you ask for? Always a pleasant experience.
I quite enjoyed this Ster Kinekor. It was my first going to this one in Sandton City. It was pay weekend so Sandton City was packed and Ster Kinekor had quite a few people in it. But there were plenty of self-help of kiosks and the line for popcorn and slushies was moving. The film experience was also good, the theater was clean and well maintained
Excellent service.. Quick and easy..didn't have a long que ..movie quality and sound was excellent. Seating was clean and well spaced. Would definitely recommend this branch at Sandton city.
Going to see a simple movie has become such a ridiculous mission! You have to use the ticket machine to order your refreshments now. Sometimes the machines work. Really complicating a simple system. And the popcorn comes in a paper bag. Such a disappointment. No longer the classic movie experience.
This is the Best Ster-Kinekor I have ever been. The place is 1st class. The self service station is awesome. You buy your tickets and snacks n collection is flawless. There are many self service stations soo when u go there there is no need to arrive 30 minutes before. U only need 5 minutes. Everything is running smoothly. When u inside the Cinema is beautiful. Beautiful comfortable leather seats. And the walk in way to inside Cinema has led lights that show u the way. I love the love nest seats. Pic is included. You just have to come n experience this once.
Watched Wakanda forever in 3d, the picture quality is horrible. This is not the first time, the 3d experience is always unpleasant unless you watching it on IMAX.Please offer the shows in 2d
Efficient snack management system, friendly staff. Need to book in advance to ensure the seats you prefer.
