What a horrible experience We arrived here just after 2 o'clock as a big group of people. We were told that the power has been of since 1 o'clock, just to find out that it all was an lie. The reason why their power was of is because they didn't pay they electricity bill and apparently it isn't the first time that this happened. I would only rate them as an 1 star They could've told us before we came that the power is off because they knew exactly what the reason was for the power being off I mean they are rated as an 3star geaust house UT if you want to be rated as an 3star acomodatin then you need to keep up to the tourism grading council of SA

Terrible guesthouse. Air cons dont work, it is outdated, no fridge, no microwave. Ladies working there are lovely but feel sorry for them because the owners obviously wont upgrade and they get moaned at. Owners. You can afford a bit of a upgrdae.

Absolutely love the privacy. I've been here on 3 different occasions, I'll definitely be booked here for New Years as well.

The people are great and it is private no problem with client services love the peace and quiet there just love itRooms: 4/5

We had an extremely bad experience with this guesthouse. We made a booking and paid a deposit. Subsequently we had to cancel the booking and they have agreed to repay our deposit as we cancelled long before we were suppose to stay there. It has been a couple of months and still we haven't received our deposit. Have spoken to the owner himself but struggle to get him to make the actual payment. Very unprofessional in his way of handling this.

What an awesome place. Staff is very friendly and very welcoming. If you are looking for accommodation in Welkom I would recommend this place to anyone. Nice sized bedrooms and place is clean. Looking for a place to stay in Welkom look no further than Wel Rie Guesthouse.

There are NO safe parking for cars and no fans in room it was so hot we couldn't even open a window because the other guests was smoking outside and you can hear the other guests in your room whether it's a sneeze or a cough.. didn't sleep well at all the other guests was noisy after 12:00 and even rang the doorbell and honked their cars..

Not a place I would recommend. The pictures are misleading. We had cockroaches in our room and there was no secure parking also situated at a bad spot next to a pub.

Worst Guest house I been at. Staff is an joke not attending to any guest more like an self help service. No safe parking. Aircon don't work.

It was a great experience. It was very clean and comfortable. I won't hesitate to go there again
