Had a excellent outing at Wimpy this boxing day. Great meal and great service, from moment of arrival till I left. Vegetarian options: Available Parking: Plenty parking Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible by wheelchair
My waitress was friendly, checked up on me...and all with a gorgeous smile I had a burger with bacon and cheese, plus a coffee milkshake
Had a early bird breakfast whilst waiting for a friend to join for coffee. As usual a great breakfast albeit the prices have risen considerably over the last month, understandably so having said that it does stand to reason why outlet not as busy as becoming unaffordable to many sad for the business but true. I then ordered coffee and sent it back as definitely not the same coffee that wimpy is renowned for. It tasted like tin coffee with froth on the top. Spoke to owner and manager. Owner was a bit confrontational about the coffee. Was on the offensive straight off. Second cup came but no better. The manager was very attentive and pleasant. Food excellent coffee a disappointment.
The food was good and we had no problems with our orders. The service was a bit slow and the server didn't seem to care too much about our table. The burgers are very nice and the milkshakes are above average. I will probably eat there again, but not a super big fan.
We ordered a bacon and egg sandwich which was very very dry. Waited half and hour for sandwich Parking: Huge parking space Wheelchair accessibility: Under cover parking
I order extra "crispy" onions which came to the table iced cold looking liking leftovers of the previous day. On telling them it's cold, they took it back, warmed it in the microwave making it ten times worse...other patrons were also complaining the whole time....they are clearly not interested in protecting their brand by serving decent food one time......Wimpy as a whole is in any event not the same as it used to be
Had a BLT with chips at Wimpy and Milkshakes, gees it was so delicious! Really good value for money, love the Wimpy! Friendly staff, really nice waitresses and management there. 5 Stars for sure! Happy customer!
Growing up my mom and dad always took us to Wimpy. Now I take my daughter to Wimpy. Love them. Just wish more can open up.
Wimpy is generally rather great. This branch however served cold coffee, it was rectified by our waitress. And then took a really long time with our takeaway order. Food was good, and the hot coffee was awesome. Service just appeared to be lacking at the branch on the day.
Good service, good comprehension of requirements, good food - somewhat oily however
