Great service. A good stop before you go home. Never out of stock. And the staff are always friendly. They always have something interesting to keep you excited. And it really helps that they only close at 8, as I sometimes only leave work at 6.
I drive past puke and pray local to this Spar for my bread and milk and whatever else I need. Sure they are more expensive and sell the exact same products, but at least their staff are all at their post, working - unlike the oxygen thieves at puke and pray local who likes to tell you that you are stupid and then refuse to help you with a manager that is always playing candy crush instead of clearing out the spoilt milk from the fridge, or at the very least have it cleared out by his oxygen thieves. Definitely worth the extra petrol. Definitely worth the higher shelf prices. I never leave insulted, angry and annoyed there as I always do when leaving puke and pray and having to go there anyway. It's also very fun to flip off the puke and pray as I pass it again on my way back home. This Spar is truly "good for you"!
A good store with reasonable prices and lots of food. this is a personal story I didn't get a small amount of normal cheese I could afford. They had mozzarella and brie and parmesan in small amounts but they only had gouda and cheddar.in massive bricks or wheels. I don't think this was intentional. I think they recently delivered the cheese. Or the Deli was busier than usual since it was lunch hour. Its not a knock on the store... I was just in the mood for cheese today. Please come here, its in a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood
This was not the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or even 10th time. There's 80% of the time a descripancy on your shopping slip! Be carefull! Carlos the manager too busy to come and speak to me yesterday. Gave my number and name as owner was going to call me.. Still no phonecall received. A week ago i bought sunblock, special price R99, charged me R198! Error was rectified... But it's not a pleasure to shop here. Need to be VERY awake of what you get charged. No prices at veggs department.. Guess how much u will be charged to get a suprize at till point. Gave all goods back Yesterday. Went 3km's up the road to another Spar, saved R50 on shopping! Tired of playing policeman at till to make sure they charge me according to prices displayed as this is daylight robbery.
As always friendly staff and find fresh produce
The rudest person working behind the cigarette counter. She does not know the names of the cigarettes. Clicking her tongue to customers, and hitting the cigarettes down on the counter.
Not a bad Spar at all! They have a lot of very select items. There is also a seating area/coffee shops. No que really even at busy times. Staff was helpful. Seem to have a good selection on most things.
Comfy parking, well stocked. Much more to explore in the store. Overall a good experience.
Clean store, parking cool. Strongly recommended. Enjoyed my shopping experience
Good customer service at tills and good bakery. A little pricey on some items but one of my go to shops in the area
