Description

The motive behind opening Woodstock was simple: To create an affordable, yet quality urban pizzeria in our home town. Woodstock Urban pizzeria is the brainchild of the Kotze brothers. Their love for food and music can be seen in the details of the establishment itself and Zander will often be heard playing blues as the sun sets for an evening of social dining.

Although our pizza’s roots are Italian, we have taken a different approach when designing our menu and have put together a variety of flavour combinations for our pizza’s to provide something suitable for everyone’s palate. Only the freshest ingredients are used when preparing our food and we try to support local products where possible.

Actually came to Cactus creek next door but learnt it had recently closed down. Decided to try Woodstock as we were there already. Very pleasantly surprised, very delicious pizza, friendly service and good coffee.
My Family disagree, but I rate this the best pizza restaurant in Pretoria. If you’re a fan of thin pizza bases, and pizza’s done to perfection, this is where you want to eat pizza! Unpretentious and tucked away just off Garsfontein mid way between Solomon Mahalangu and January Masilela spelling…. drive. Their smoking area is great for winter nights…but it is tucked away and lacks the summer appeal we’re generally looking for. The advantage is that it is near the pizza oven…so you’ll be cozy and have some ambiance on those colder nights. We’ve met the owner a few times and he puts so much love and effort into his restaurant as well as into ensuring you’ve enjoyed your food and drink. Alcohol is sold on premise, so no need to worry about having to take your own or having to drink coffee with your pizza : They also have alternate dishes if your extended crowd don’t all eat pizza…pasta, chicken dishes etc. etc. Thanks to the team at Woodstock for always delivering consistently amazing food! P.S. – if you’re going here on a winter evening book in advance to avoid sitting on the deck outside – although it has roll down screens, it can be nippy…otherwise take a jacket!
They have really great pizza, an awesome vibe, friendly staff and great taste in music! If you're experiencing loadshedding and you're in the area, it is the perfect way to wait out the storm.

I love, love, love, Woodstock pizza! The atmosphere is chilled, urban contemporary, with a hip vibe. You'll love the approachable and attentive staff. The tap beer is cold and delicious while the menu will satisfy any food mood. Try this joint once - and you'll be back for more. The street parking is not always easy, and is limited, so you'll want to avoid absolute peak hours, but there is a parking guard around, for what he's worth. All in all, Woodstock Pizzeria is as good as they come. The pricing is fair, and the food is excellently named, prepared and presented. Midweek, one is not confronted with as many takeaways as on the weekends so service is quicker. Which is not to say, service is slow, it's just that Midweek you'll not get through a beer before your food arrives. Food: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Drinks: 8/10 Parking: 5/10
Absolutely love their pizzas. Crisp, thin base. Generous toppings. Excellent selection. Would go back purely for their Fire Engine pizza. Furthermore, their Thursday evening quiz night is also an incredible vibe. The quiz master is brilliant. And the manager tonight was such a gem. Overall a great experience.Food: 5/5

Fantastic pizzas with great variety, flavor and interesting topings. Pizzas were a good portion size. The prices were on the steep side, the portions for their non pizza dishes were tiny, and the food took long. Great atmosphere and decor!
Love the Woodstock theme at the pizzeria, the Blues creates a very hippie ambience, vintage yet modern vibe.Waiter was very polite and Attentive. Had a pizza called, Fabulous Pizza which was delicious, as a Tea Fanatic i was not happy with their Ceylon tea the taste was off .I didn't notice if the place is wheelchair friendly, i stand to be Corrected. Overall as a Pizza Fanatic and Blues Lover my experience was enjoyable.
