Woolies is mostly the best in South Africa. They develop and sell their proprietary brands in most cases. Their stuff is excellent.
Disgusting and rude service from treller Maria and manager Pat Khusa. Not willing to assist but to speak to me so poorly, so arrogant and rude. Will never return and will share my experience with others so they can be aware of the staff there. Seems it's my responsibility to make sure your security do their jobs.
I do not understand why only 3 tills are used during peak hour on Saturday monthend. We literally waited on the queue for over 25min before paying. Food section 29/04/2023, time 17:20pm left at 17:55
Friendly staff, but not enough at the consumer desk. Had to wait nearly an hour to collect my card.

On 19 June 2022 just short of R4000 was spent at Woolworths Eastrand Mall. Today, 21 June 2022, I went back to exchange two kid items for a larger size. The service received was outright rude and poorly handled. The lady who helped me wanted to charge me incorrectly, after I asked her but why must I pay for the size exchange she responded rude and poorly. I asked for her to get assistance, which she did. The second lady did not greeteven after I greeted her or even look at me. They continued talking in a language which I, the customer, can not understand which is really bad service and impolite. Once it was clear that the first lady made a mistake I got no apology or her owning up to her mistake. I pointed out that the service I got was received very rude, which they did not even try to apologise for the second lady just simply walked away. The first lady just said but they are trying to help me. The trying to help me is not the problem their incredibly rude, impolite and arrogant attitudes are such a massive inconvenience and bad customer service! Very disappointed in their service!
VERY VERY VERY SLOW SERVICE at paypoint. Rather standing around chatting., 15 people waiting to pay, 3 cashiers and not interested in customer service.
I bought a rotisserie chicken yesterday, the price has gone UP but it seems the quality has gone down. The chicken was so dry, clearly overcooked. Disappointed!
Peak Christmas shopping period 11:00 am and only 2 tellers available. One teller took 12 mins to serve a customer with a trolley filled to capacity and more. Some of us with 5 to 10 items stood in the queue for over 20 mins. This is is unacceptable Woolworths. The manager was supposedly attending to the situation. Unhappy customer today.
