We are committed in supporting the projects we work with and guarantee that a portion of the fee you pay goes directly to the projects. This aids them not only in fundraising, but creates financial security & empowerment for these projects. You2Africa is unswerving in our belief in ‘ubuntu’, 'I am what I am because of who we all are' . Archbishop Desmond Tutu explains the concept so well: ‘One of the sayings in our country is Ubuntu – the essence of being human. Ubuntu speaks particularly about the fact that you can't exist as a human being in isolation. It speaks about our interconnectedness. You can't be human all by yourself, and when you have this quality – Ubuntu – you are known for your generosity. We think of ourselves far too frequently as just individuals, separated from one another, whereas you are connected and what you do affects the whole World. When you do well, it spreads out; it is for the whole of humanity.’ We aim to connect you with projects based on this philosophy, we aim to run our business in this way and we aim to change the way you view the world through you coming to understand and live this philosophy in your own life.
