I have been attending the 21st Yoga studio since it opened in this location. This studio has an open and inviting atmosphere and they welcome all people and all levels. There are many classes to chose from that meet diverse needs, wants and abilities. The instructors are knowledgeable and seeks to provide each patron a positive experience. I have had such great experiences with Kim, Jason, Perry and John as my instructors. I could not imagine practicing at any other studio. Not only the teachers but the front staff know the regulars which is one of my favorite things in the world thanks Austin...its like Cheers with different beverages.
I really love this studio. I have recently came to Salt Lake to look at living here and something that is always important is finding a great yoga studio. I started with the 3 class introductory package to see how I liked it. I liked it so much I kept going back. The atmosphere here is great, I never felt uncomfortable. Some studios can be very intimidating but the teachers and the front desk staff are super nice and welcoming. It's a winner for sure. : I haven't had time to try all the classes yet but they are on my list.
My favorite yoga studio in Utah. I've studied with most of their instructors for over ten years. They are knowledgeable, openhearted, and fun. I come for yin yoga to get some self-care therapy, and to Power for a workout. You can't go wrong if you want to try a class here! Love them!
We moved into the neighborhood and love having a yoga class so close. I haven’t been to a yoga class in almost a year but the teachers are great and help you improve. I find the classes challenging and perfect for where I am in my practice.
This is a collective of the BEST yoga instructors in Salt Lake. If you have an opportunity, check this out! I love classes taught by Lucy, Scott, John & Katie, but there are many other great instructors as well.
I have taken classes quite a few of the instructors here for many years and I truly feel how much they love what they're doing in an atmosphere of growth. I love the creative workshops they offer and that they integrate so many other elements into the asana practises. Try out Kims Deep Power class, Scotts classes, Yoga for Athletes and of course The Glow Yoga for a different way to get out on a friday night.
I've been meaning to write this review since they opened better late than never but I guess I'd rather actually go to yoga classes than write about them. However, I knew I had to eventually sit down and give praise where it was due. I followed a lot of these instructors around for years so when 21st opened and many ended up there - it was a no brainer to nama-stay with them. I particularly like Jame's Candlelight Power Flow - it's a great class if you want a bit of a workout balanced with the perfect amount of relaxation/meditation. His love for music is evident in his deliberate playlist created for each class. It's not uncommon for me to be bopping my head to a beat while I'm in down dog. Kim's Restore class is heavenly - I'm usually so blissed out by the end I wish I'd brought a sleeping bag to just immediately float off into dreamland afterwards. Lucy's Yin is also incredible. She's always keeping it interesting by switching up what she's doing every week and sprinkling her class with great anecdotes and readings. That being said, I try out other classes and instructors often and am never disappointed. They also sporadically offer workshops which I've enjoyed. There's classes for every skill level, mats if you don't have them, and the pricing is fair. I recommend getting a pass because it saves you some money and if you don't want to come back after trying it once I don't know what's wrong with you.
Wonderful studio and community. Great diversity of yoga classes and offerings; classes ranging from Power to Nidra, Restore, Glow flow with James, Yin with Lucy etc. Many great knowledgeable and personable teachers as well as front desk staff. Clean and well maintained facility. Convenient parking and fair pricing.
21st Yoga has been my absolute favorite yoga studio ever since it opened. The teachers there are so inspiring and leave you feeling so empowered. Every class you go to you will get a sensational outcome no matter what. YOU MUST GO!!!!
I am very picky with my yoga studios, that being said, 21st is my number one. Not only is the environment perfect, the instructors are professional yet engaging and the vibe of the entire studio is incredible! My number one yoga studio in Salt Lake!
