Hot brisket sandwich was pricey, but pretty good. Host was charming, the server not so much. Matzo ball soup was good. Liked how broth was poured over the very hot matzo ball at the table. Plenty of carrot slices. The complimentary shot of foamy chocolate drink after the meal was a nice touch to finish with sweetness.

The food and service was excellent. The Pastrami is melt in your mouth and the server was extremely polite and helpful. The only negative is that it is quite expensive for a sandwich. {$21.50 for the sandwich and $7.50 for a side of potato salad). But it is the best pastrami we've ever had.

- The pastrami sandwich is really good, thinly sliced, giant pile and works well with the mustard. Pricey at $21 but good - The corned beef is not bad either, but definitely get pastrami - You get pickles and slaw with your meal, and a shot of egg cream at the end of the meal. - Baked knish is giant. - Matzo ball soup very tasty. The host is very friendly.

Had a pastrami sandwich and potato salad. Both were very tasty. The slaw and pickles served with the meal were also good, ended up having two servings. Had a fun little chocolate shot at the end. Prices are a little high, but only by a few bucks.

I’ve been here a few times. The first three, I was amazed. Then I had a 2 year gap being in NYC, went back last week and though the food was definitely the same excellent quality, the price appeared to have taken a 50% trip upward. The food is good, but sadly is now outside my price range. I’m sure midtown real estate prices has nothing to do with it. ;)
