Recently went to 5-Star to have my windshield replaced, paying out of pocket. They were not only professional and efficient, but they were careful to save and re-use a piece of molding that came with the previous windshield. This saved us about $250 from what other places had quoted us. Work looks great, and I've had no problems so far. Highly recommend.

The customer service was amazing, they were super friendly and very easy to work with. They kept us updated as things were happening with our vehicle as well as letting us know prices and timelines the same day the car was dropped off. Very fast service and the quality of work is fabulous!! Would definitely recommend them for big or little fixes on your vehicle!!

Well, I wouldn't and couldn't recommend this place to anyone. I had our car in there in Feb for a deer collision. Thing is we are stationed in Co and left shortly after we got the car back.
Issues we've had
1. Our car is painted in Reflex Silver and when they painted the hood they did a bad job as the paint looks slightly marbled in appearance like there isn't enough silver paint on there as there are darker patches of almost black showing like that was the base color and not enough paint was applied over it.
2. There is some bits of fuzz in the paint here and there.
3. The new hood is misaligned at the hinge as it is sitting slightly lower than the top of the fender by the windshield.
4. When I went for a test drive I noticed a thunk from the right front wheel area twice when I went over some slight bumps in two different intersections in Grand Forks. It wasn't repeatable but nevertheless it happened. When I took it back there to ask them about it an hour or two later they then took it for a test drive and blamed said thunk on my water bottle that was in the door... I guess that was the best excuse they could think of even though I said No it wasn't that light of a noise and it was coming from the wheel area not the inside. Anyway that was why I took the plastic skid pan off from under the engine to find out what caused the noise. Turns out the "technician" who installed the fender well liner had hooked it into the front coil spring (instead of going up along the spring the flap went into the spring) so occasionally it would jump from one coil to the next and cause the thunk.
5. Our car has a plastic "skid" pan/plate/tray underneath the engine that is held on by three large torx bolts at the rear and nine smaller screws around the rest of it. When I removed it I found only six screws holding it on in addition to the three bolts, but when I went inspecting the fender well liners I found that they had missing screws as well so after I replaced them I only had ONE screw left.. Needless to say next time I was in town I went back and they found me some mediocre philips head screws that I made fit instead of the oem torx headed ones. FYI everything was there earlier that winter when I installed a block heater and did the last oil change. Also the fender liner parts that bolt to the front underside of the bumper to cover that gap the the skid pan doesn't were all bent up inside of the area instead of bolted down through the skid pan and braces.
6. The block heater cord I routed and zip tied was now squished between one of the skid pan mounting screws and the brace. It was only about 1/4" away from getting screwed through by the "technician".
7. When I picked up the car the first time I opened the hood and noticed that both headlights were missing a mounting bolt! Kind of a big deal when they only have TWO that hold them in and aligned. The "technician" had to go back to his work area and found them sitting somewhere..
8. Said "technician" didn't tighten the negative battery cable! The wife was trying leave work and the car was completely dead so I had her pop the hood and check out those connections and the cable had worked its way up the post and lost connection. I KNOW this was tight before I took it to the shop as I installed a battery tender pigtail because the car would sometimes sit for a few weeks in ND and I'd have a battery maintainer on it.
I'll see if I ever get back there if they'd repaint the hood correctly but I'm not willing to sit in a hotel for a week while waiting for a hopefully decent job. Maybe they'll pay an actually autobody shop here to do the repaint for them as I found one here that actually does a good job. Also I wrote technician in quotes because this guy did such a careless piss poor job that I don't want any technician can actually puts cars back together to be offended by this guy. To be honest the counter guy did say he was new but that should only mean he'd try harder to do a good job during a probation period... guess not in this case.

Excellent service from start to finish. When I brought my vehicle to 5-Star for an estimate it was very easy to begin with. I just drove straight up to the drive-in estimator, the staff opened the doors and I was able to bring my vehicle right inside for the estimate. Once the repairs had began, I received daily updates through text and email, showing the progress of my vehicle, which was great. The staff was very friendly and accommodating throughout the entire process. Bob and Craig run a very fine tuned business with knowledgeable and skilled technicians. Hopefully another vehicle collision will not be in my future, but if it does, I will definitely be coming straight back to 5-Star. From this point on, I will only recommend that people get their auto body work done here.
