LOVE this place. I'm not originally from the area so finding a good Chinese place was proving difficult to my standards, till now. My husband is an EXTREMELY picky eater and he can customize his food how ever he wants (no vegetables) no matter what he decides to order (even the fried rice). Their food is made to order, so you know it's going to be hot. The staff is friendly and quick to fix any issues.

Best Chinese takeout in Ames. Usually get the shrimp lo mein. Shrimp is always cooked properly and the lo mein isn't overly greasy. Crab rangoons and egg rolls are good enough, as was the hot and sour soup. Never had a bad item really.

I drive all the way from Des Moines to Ames 2-3 times monthly just to order 888. All I order is the barbecue spare ribs lol. That's how good they are!

This would be less then 1 star!! I ordered for delivery and 1.5 hours later I called and they stated that they had tried to call me, several times. But I had gotten NO calls during that time. They accused me of lying and I cancelled my order! There are definitely other people places in town to get food from! Starving butbwill survive!
