A Dong Restaurant

Easy access to restaurant. Plenty of parking. Establishment very clean and well taken care of. Decor is light yet lovely. Staff is friendly and well trained in customer service smiles. Food is excellent and well priced. The Beef Pho is superior! A must stop! 🙂

We wanted to get a quick and light Vietnamese meal last night before going to the theater. A Dong was perfect. It is close to downtown Des Moines. Of street parking is plentiful.We walked in without reservations. The host immediately took us to our table. The restaurant has been in business in the same location for at least 15 years, but the spacious dining area is bright and immaculate. A pleasant server knew the endless menu by heart. We chose shrimp-based dishes, but there are numerous of beef, chicken, duck, pork, seafood, and vegetarian options. The meals came quickly and were perfectly prepared. They had the right amount of spice and looked gorgeous. We walked out satiated but not bloated for less than $26.

This is definitely one of my favorite Asian restaurants I've eaten at. The food is top of the line at a great price. A very clean place from the dining room to the restroom. The staff are all really polite. The worst part is that there's not a lot of parking. If your a coffee drinker they've got some really strong coffee but it will wake you right up!

I had never been here before but will definitely go back. The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. They helped explain the very expansive menu and we're very patient. The food was very good (if you like Asian style food) and came out very fast. Restaurant was clean.

I've been going to ADong restaurant for years now. Great variety on offer and great tasting food. They have never disappointed. Highly recommended!!!
