Best Vietnamese food in cedar rapids hands down. Pho is full of flavor and dishes have large portion. Tried the others not as flavorful or impressive. Family run and very welcoming. Quick service every time I visit.

Absolutely love this place! Friendly, fast service and a great variety of foods to choose from. The spring rolls are TO DIE FOR. I try to visit every time I pass through Cedar Rapids.

Spring Roll 1.1 and Phong Lan Fried Rice 7.1: Spring Rolls are the best with hoisin sauce, perfectly wrapped and something fresh cilantro? basil? don’t know, delicious. Fried Rice is reminiscent of The Dragon, a Cedar Rapids restaurant from years ago. I'll try a Pho Bowl next time. Carryout order was easy using the numbers. Service is efficient and friendly.

This place has great authentic Vietnamese cuisine. The pho is very good and the spring rolls are also excellent. There's rarely a crowd or a wait to be seated. Their parking is severely limited, however.

This is my new favorate restaurant in Cedar Rapids. Phong Lan is a very clean and tidy restaurant that is brightly lit and offers plenty of comfortable seating consisting of booths or tables. The staff is efficient and service is excellent. A wide variety of asian favorites are available. I highly recommend the Pho which is a soup featuring gluten free rice noodles and vegetables served in large portions with several varieties available (seafood [4.6] is my favorite). The spring rolls are a delicious, healthy and inexpensive appetizer. An order of Pho and Spring Rolls will run you about $13 and is very filling even for large appetites. As mentioned by others, parking is very limited. There is some on-street parking (maybe 3 or 4 cars) on the west side of the street (limited to 1 hour between 8am and 5pm - no meter) and off street parking in a tiny lot between buildings on the NE side (again maybe 3-4 cars). FYI - 8th St is one way south to north.
