I Love Pho

We are Pho/ Vietnamese food Lovers! And, we had heard so much about this place and decided to check it out. Ordered: Bun Bo Hue (Spicy Beef Noodle Soup) and Banh Mi (Vietnamese sandwich) with a side of soup. Both were average. Flavor was less. Low on meat. The ambience is great, but we found the food A LOT below our expectations.

I love Pho. The staff here is friendly, and welcoming. I will say that the actually Pho itself is alright, but it’s not exemplary. They need to offer a Pho Tai, though you can customize it to make something similar. I’m giving this review 3 stars mainly because of the food. The hoisin sauce is a bit salty, but that could be good for some. I haven’t tried any of the other dishes but I go to Vietnamese for Pho. My opinion is that this place is properly priced for Iowa (but not if you were in LA or SF). I would love to take to the owner for some more feedback.

Biggest waste of money and time. Customer service?!?! Ha! I wasn't even acknowledged. Just when I'm about to leave they finally take my order. I thought I'd give the food a chance but the wontons were frozen and the meat in the pho looked like it had been boiled and put in the fridge to reboil about 3 times. I lost my appetite and left. I'll never be here again.

Pretty good, also the only place in town as they also run the shop in Old Capitol

Curry is always great and the crab rangoons are made inhouse and the best Ive ever had!
