A New Day Spa

Beware. This day spa is so ridiculous. They put you on hold for 30 minutes at a time. They had a marathon going in front of their business the day of our massage . For the reminder call they never told us there would be a marathon. We could not make it to their day spa the road was shut down. When we called to speak with the receptionist, she told us to be forceful with police to get there. I called and spoke with the owner. She was ignorant and rude and disrespectful. She Wouldn’t listen to me. Disrespectful ignorant staffing. If I could give less than 1 Star I would.

i called and made a reservation for me and my wife. i will be cancelling just because of the phone call. She told me on the phone to be sure to bring cash for the gratuity because "they prefer that"! First lets not made assumptions about tipping. if i have a terrible experience i might not tip at all. second, i can decide how to leave a tip. ridiculous conversation over the phone. don't speak to people like they are idiots. I did change my review because I ended up keeping my reservation and my massage was actually pretty good but the place is pretty ghetto and it needs a remodel in a bad way.

The first appointment was okay. Took days to get a hold of anyone. Finally booked the appointment. The dysport worked well as expected. The environment felt chaotic energetically and the staff mirrored this. Very unorganized methods of booking appointments. I made another appointment that was cancelled upon my arrival. I was assured that next appointment I would be given a deal. I have been calling and texting for four days now. Each text response assured me I would be receiving a call. Fifth day, still no returned call. I wasn’t going to write this and wanted to give them a chance. But I am pretty disappointed and the excuses of “we are so slammed today” or “I’m sorry things have been crazy today” is not professional and not an excuse after the tenth time of hearing it. Organization is essential and balance is as well. Well-being and peace is claimed to be provided here but is seriously lacking within the environment and within the hearts of the people working here. I wish them nothing but the best and hope that things become more balanced for them.

I'm not the first to say this but there is something fishy going on here at the front desk. I had a couples massage with my wife from a coupon on groupon and they treated us so nicely and the massage it wonderful, but then it was time to check out at the front deskand everything changes. We came prepared to tip well for our massages. We had to give our tips to the front desk. While at the front desk this lady counted our tip in front of us and told us that we didn't tip enough, that our massage was technically over twice the value we paid and needed to tip to what it should cost. We already gave her a very good tip and still felt bad. I couldn't believe how condescending and rude this lady was about getting a tip and I warn all of you to take your business elsewhere. I feel bad for those good massage therapists.

My husband and I bought the 4 hour package which turned out to be about 3 hours. But We were sastified with the service we received. Everyone was very nice and welcoming. Brittany did our facials and she was amazing. She did a great job with keeping a clam and easy going environment. The massages were very relaxing. Our only awkward moment was when we were leaving our gratuity, the receptionist let us know what the ethniticians and massage therapists usually get tipped but we could tip whatever we would like. I felt overall, the spa was very stress free and we felt very pampered.
