Aban Kitchen

Sat in the traditional area, so comfortable. The food was outstanding. Tender lamb and deliciously flavored chicken. The Chi tea compliments the food so well. I had one problem with this place and it was the wait. Took 2 hours for us to get our food and dessert. There was one person waiting on the entire restirant. They need to staff more people but I will most certainly be going back

Excellent cuisine reminiscent of more commonly found Indian food. You will truly feel like they are welcoming into their home. As challenging as it may seem to make a menu selection it really doesn't matter because all of the offerings are wonderfully delicious! Traditional floor seating is also available in adjacent rooms that we to try at some point.

If you like middle eastern food, that’s your place to have delicious food. It’s cheaper and healthier than fast food. It’s a Yemeni restaurant and they have a great menu of different dishes.

Was in Marion, IL for 2 days and we decided to have dinner at Aban's Kitchen and I must say that was the best Middle Eastern meal I had experience. The food was amazing and the staff are very friendly and helpful, I plan to make another trip to Carbondale, IL just to enjoy another meal at Aban's Kitchen.
