Abelardo's Mexican Food

Not a good experience. I even emailed the disaster to them and never heard back. No apology, not a peep. First NO RECEIPT! How can I go back with a screwed up order if NO RECEIPT.? sure they do that one on purpose. So NO RECEIPT AND SCREWED UP THE ORDER. I agree with a few others 108th the worst. I have been to 90th MANY times and they never once screwed up! VERY UNSATISFIED 😠😠

For the money their food cannot be beat. Good anytime but they are perfect for after hitting up a bar.

If appearance is important to you, then Abelardo's isn't for you. But if you can overlook that a bit, you will get a mountain of good food for a fair price. And I'd be willing to bet you'll go back.

I go to the one off 84th street all the time but saw they had gone on uber eats so I decided to try it. When I placed my order I forgot to add a food item so immediately called the location right after I got off the phone. I had a really hard time trying to explain to the man I talked to that I placed an order through uber eats and that I forgot an item in which I wanted to add to my order and was prepared to pay for over the phone. The man kept asking me when I would like to pick up the order and kept saying they don't do uber eats or deliver but I had already paid for and gotten the confirmation number for the order. At this point, confused, I called uber eats customer service and spoke with a lady who called the restaurant to verify my order . She said it was being prepared now. I called back to add the food item and consistently was being told they don't do uber eats and that they hadn't gotten my order at all. Very difficult and frustrating to deal with. My uber driver also said they were every bit unpleasant. Then when I opened my food it looked like they three everything together (worse than normal), I didn't get the item I requested over the phone, very skimpy portions which is rather unusual, and the food was cold. Ruined this restaurant for me.
