Netties Fine Mexican Food

One of the best Mexican restaurants in the omaha metro. I almost always get a toad taco each visit. Otherwise I like their beef burrito and cheese and onion enchilada. They do put a lot of cheese on all my favorites, so you have to love cheese (and I do!) I have friends that love the Kathy's nachos, and others that swear the tamales and chili are the best in town. If you're looking for some good food, I highly recommend Nettie's!!

Delious as always! We got seated right away, which is unusual for a Friday night. Service was quick and friendly. It is definitely a family run restaurant where they actually care. Food is hot, fresh and so yummy.

Tremendous food! Full bodied salsa and sauces. Fun dive-style atmosphere. Just wishing they would fry their own tortilla chips.

It was packed around dinner time. We luckily arrived just before the rush and sat down in the middle of a cozy dinner crowd. The room was at a light roar throughout as everyone enjoyed good conversation, beverages, and food. The salsa was a little too hot for my children but I enjoyed it. The guacamole was fresh and soothing. The food was piled higher than I probably should have eaten. Hot refried beans textured just right and mounds of fluffy seasoned rice offered good comfort on a cold evening out. The staff were really helpful and treated everyone like friends. The only possible complaint I have was the price being a little high. There was plenty to eat though so I wouldn't let that scare you away from a good meal among great people. I would go back for sure.

I honestly don’t understand how this place is rated anything above 2 stars. The food is subpar and I would guess they looked up images of Mexican food from google and attempted to make them with the ingredients found in the grocery section of a gas station. The food was very basic, cheap, not good and they try to overcome that with large over the top portions. Our waitress was very nice but the high school kid hosting was pretty rude. He had one job and that was to greet us, make us feel welcome then get us seated. His tone was rude, he acted annoyed to the point where my daughter and I looked at each other and could only laugh awkwardly. Omaha has several places better than Nettie’s...
