I highly recommend ABQ Pet Care! My fur baby Patches is getting older and needed a check up and a dental cleaning. He’s a little chihuahua and has a big personality, during his checkup they addressed a problem with blood in his urine which ended up being a urinary tract infection and I’m so glad they were able to give him the antibiotics he needed. A few weeks later we took him for a dental cleaning and he had to have a few teeth pulled which I was very worried about being a possibility but they took such good care of him and helped him to feel better and keep his teeth healthy. I was beyond impressed with the care he received and trust that he is in very good hands with the staff. Our pets are our children and the staff take that very serious and I appreciate how much they care. Very reasonable prices as well!! I live in Santa Fe and unfortunately the vets here aren’t taking new clients and are very expensive. I am so blessed to have found ABQ Pet Care. They were able to get him in quickly and help him in every way needed!

I appreciated that they were able to see my cat quickly. Dr. Ortiz and Sydney were especially helpful in providing information and giving updates on his health status when tests were completed. Recommendations were made for his diet and medications dispensed with easy to understand instructions. I also appreciated that they came to the vehicle to take him into the exam room, I waited in the car while they assessed him. Covid precautions in place . They were empathetic and kind with him. I highly recommend them

I've been here twice for my leopard gecko, and both visits have been great experiences. Both times they've asked for a follow up appointment to make sure he's improved- didn't even charge me extra either. The first time there, I wasn't really aware of the cost about vet visits but they were super accommodating! The second time I came with a tighter budget that they were able to work with as well. It's tough to find an exotic vet too so I'm grateful I found this place and that they take such good care of my lil gecko!!!

Super helpful staff even when my pup was a little nervous the very first visit. The second visit he was so excited to see the staff. They even called to checkup after his surgery. Very convenient location and they aren’t booked out for months like everywhere else. I would definitely trust them with your animal. Would and will be recommending.

Dr. Ortiz took excellent care of my dog and did a wonderful job thoroughly explaining everything. The vet techs are also very knowledgeable and professional. We are new to town and this office was one of the only places that could get my dog on the schedule in a timely manner.

This is not our main vet, but they always come in as a back up for us. Dr. Ortiz is great-I trust her fully with my babies. The receptionist and medical staff are also very friendly and great to speak with. Thank you all for taking great care of Stella! Again!

Going to ABQ Petcare hospital is a wonderful experience. You cannot find a more caring practice, with doctors staff and technicians who receive every kind of pet, from birds and Guinea pigs to huge dogs. My cat who is quite elderly now has had very complicated surgeries and just normal care with deep care and experience. I would urge anyone with a pet to go there. They can do it all with superb customer service.

Been taking my cat to ABQ Pet Care Hospital since I adopted her earlier this year. They successfully treated her for a dental issue, a mild infection, and a minor paw problem. Also found it easier to make appointments here than at other vets in town. Very satisfied!

I needed to take my bunny to a new vet since her previous vet doesn't see rabbits anymore. I believe my bunny received excellent care. Dr. Young was empathetic when she shared my bunny's prognosis. Everyone I interacted with was kind and professional. They even jumped my car when my battery decided it was a great time to die! I will be returning to Abq Pet Care for further appointments for my bunny!

I am lucky to have found this clinic. Dr. Young has complete empathy for good pet owners. She and a tech go over everything with you face to face at your vehicle. excellent communication amongst staff. you might have to wait, so take a book with you or do some stretching. please, don’t rush them.
