Even though it's mainly cafeteria style food, this place is excellent to grab a quick bite when you visit the Cal Academy. It has everything that a child or child at heart would want to eat. Plus, it has plenty of healthy and vegan options. Tip: Members get 10%. Make sure to show your card when you pay to receive the discount. While art museums often have elegant or delicious dining options, the same can't usually be said for the cafes in science centers. The Academy Cafe breaks the mold, offering a range of tasty options sure to satisfy all diners from the pickiest kids to foodies. The prices are on the high end for a cafeteria, but the quality and selection will make you feel like you're not compromising just because you want to eat at the museum.

Surprisingly good for a cafe in a museum! Everything is made as you order it, right in front of you. The fish & chips are excellent.

Fish tacos are EXCELLENT. They boast serving organic food. All food I have tried is very fresh.

Its just a cafe in a museum, but great mostly organic food, very nice and good service, free water and ice cube station, lots of sauces, very clean, high chairs, lots of space, big choice, price ok till medium
