Fun store, great prices. Found a pair of Keen Water shores. Not only did the clerk Kim do EVERYTHING to make sure we found what we wanted she saw that they price matched the same shoe to retain the business.. That's what I call awesome customer service. Will be back again!

Academy Sports is one of my favorite retailers for sporting goods. They have a good selection and very good pricing on most items. Their store brands are usually good quality. The nearest stores are 45 minutes or more away. I wish they had a location a little nearer to me.

Store was well staffed and everyone greeted us and offered to help. Didn't need much help. The clothing department was well organized and we found what we were looking for. We got a new hat for hiking.

This is a great place to find a little bit of everything.They have whatever you'll need to get the qualified gear for youth baseball.. & If you like sports or sports wear.. or even if u don't this is the spot to get shoes & clothes. They actually have really cute glitzy sandals for women & adorable bathing suits. Love this place!

The variety of products is overwhelming, and at the same time impressive. The cleanliness is about sub-par to other sporting goods stores I've been to, but in their defense it was insanely busy. Staff are also hit/miss for helpfulness; I asked a single associate for help finding a specific shoe in a certain size, to which they needed to consult another employee (I'm assuming they were a new hire), at which the senior employee didn't even move from their spot and told me it wasn't a size they carried. I asked him if he was sure he didn't want to double check, and he maintained his answer. My wife later located the size I was looking for moments later, but at that point the only goal we had was to leave. We will try them again in the future, but for now we will be shopping elsewhere.
