Academy Sports + Outdoors

Went to purchase shoes. Associate was helpful at first, until he couldn't find my size. He then wondered off to another customer. I began to find about 7 different types of boots, sat down to try all of them on, while the associate never asked to help me again. Found a pair that I liked & left the rest for him to put back on the shelf. I normally put EVERYTHING back in it's place myself. But, in this case, he needed to earn his pay. There were no other customers at this time...I will only go back to buy ammunition for my gun. Never for shoes again. Btw, my husband took them back for a refund. They didn't deserve my business to start with!

The prices for this place are better than average. It's the cheapest place around that I've found to buy guns other than online. Note that guns and ammo bought there may not be returned for any reason. You inspect there but once it leaves the store, you deal with the manufacturer. Other accessories, such as holsters may be returned. Good people and good service at this store. I keep going back and I love a deal.

Same great 'low prices' as advertised everywhere. Great place for your everyday outdoorsman. Never had a problem with service or anything at the store.

Wide variety of different brand Sporting Goods huge selection! Parking was very convenient and easy to access the front doors! Check out was a breeze over all had a great experience at Academy

One of Academy's 1st customer's @ this location. Still looks like new inside and out. Very clean and always well stocked. Seems to be a CSA around, whenever you need help. customer service associates are very pleasant, curtious & knowledgeable! Keep up the awesome work, we want Academy around a long time.
