Academy Sports + Outdoors

We had Honessa and she was fabulous. She helped us so well that we bought a second pair, one for him! She essentially doubled the sales because she was so good. She patiently helped me find the right sneakers for arthritic knees! I tried on maybe 6 sets and she didn't miss a beat. She knew the fits super well and I spent more then I originally planned. The store is organized and clean, checkout was a breeze. We appreciated the veteran discount for memorial day!

Great place to buy sports equipment. They have reasonable prices and a good selection. The staff has always been friendly to me. We were able to find some nuun for a race and also some home gym equipment. They have a good selection of weapons and fishing gear.

Had a great experience! Drove down from Lexington to get a hover board for our son's Christmas present, all local stores were sold out. So glad we did! Not only did we get the hover board but also a pair of Duck Boots for me that were also sold out locally, thanks to Christine! She searched every box on the top shelf for my size that were not on the shelf with the others! She also, waited for me to try 2 different sizes and put the pair that did not fit back on the shelf. Above and beyond expectations! She is a great asset to this store! Most definitely needs to be noted by management! Thanks Christine!

Timothy at the Aiken store went above and beyond to help me find my size in a certain Under Armour shoe. He looked for it for at least 20 minutes. I kept apologizing and he told me not to worry about and that he just wanted to find them for me. Most store associates would have seen that they weren't visible and just said "We don't have them, sorry". Thanks Timothy!
