Rather tiring. I'm 52 years old, I don't need a babysitter. I dress rather nicely, I'm not stealing anything. One time asking if I need help per visit is ok, multiple times per minute is embarrassing. Plus, a welcome when entering, or even when paying would be appreciated. 
See...I don't need to come into any store, I choose to.
