Love Martin Hardware. This is my local go-to for all things DIY at home. The people who work there are laid back and super helpful and very knowledgeable. It's a little hard to move around in since they have so much inventory but I have never not found what I'm looking for.

This place does an impressive job of packing useful stuff from floor to ceiling in its tiny space. Once you go a few times you can get a feel for their organization method. It's a great store, with competitive prices and a surprisingly comprehensive product line. It saves me many a trip to the big box stores.

This place is a prize find for anyone who lives or visits Charlottesville. Honestly, if you cannot find what you need here, you probably don't need it. Martin's Hardware is one of those 100+ year-old hardware stores with multiple buildings, narrow aisles and limited parking but worth your time. Located on Preston Rd in Charlottesville Va with friendly staff, about every brand name product and very competitive pricing. I dare anyone to check it out!

The place seems small but it's packed. Plenty of guys around to help you find stuff. Eager to help which is unusual these days. Got what I needed and and will go there again.
